I’ve stayed at a few Paris hotels that were similarly priced, but this one stands out for a few reasons. Although the room was small (which is standard at this price point), the bathroom was a little larger than other places I’ve stayed, and the water pressure in the shower was amazing! And plenty of hot water! Also the mini fridge in my room worked really well (sometimes they don’t). The hotel is also very close to 2 different metro lines, making it very easy to get anywhere. And the very charming Place George Moustaki and rue Mouffetard are an easy walk.

A feel good hotel with excellent breakfast, nice view from the fifth floor, a nice bar next door, friendly and correct staff and all of that in the center of Paris about 5 km from the Eifel towet

Hotel clean,nice but unacceptable - not time for check out. Around 10:35 someone try to knock the door and open while iam shower. And u can hear all noise from hall and room next door when they move or use toilet.

The rooms in the Grand Hotel Gobelins are typical size for old school Paris - that is, very small with minimal table/desk space for luggage/personal items. The rooms are clean and outfitted with coffee/tea service, and are generally well lit and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The bathrooms was very bright and clean, though I did need to have a towel replaced that had a small stain. The front desk staff and other hotel staff are friendly and very accommodating. Overall, it's a decent hotel if you just need a room to spend overnight time in. The Gobelins Metro stop (Line 7) is easily accessed around the corner; however, the next nearest stops are a bit of a walk, including Campo-Formio which does not have a well-lit path. Easy enough to utilize Uber instead.

The best part about this hotel is location and the friendliest staff. The rooms were very clean which is important to me after some bad experiences at other hotels. The location is very convenient while being outside the busiest touriat areas. Recommend!

disappointing condition for cost
We had a triple room. Dirty carpets, fold out couch was so squeaky that it kept everyone awake, a/c was either freezing cold or off. Fan from a/c cycled on every minute or so and was very loud, floors were so creaky to walk on that it woke everyone up if someone went to bathroom in the night.

The hotel is nice, is clean and quiet. They have breakfast too, but we didn’t ate there. There is around the corner a nice place, where you can eat and drink, all day long. I recommend the hotel.

Great hotel choice on many levels. First, Jean Marc at the desk was fabulous. Made our stay so much more pleasurable and easy. Metro 50 m down the street, Everything was easy to get to. We came to watch Roland Garros and this was perfect location , equal distance to most Paris landmarks. Safe neighbourhood with plenty bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets.

Great stay in a good location in Paris
Really enjoyed my stay in Grand Hotel des Gobelins. Very good location - walking distance to many attractions, shops and restaurants, close to metro. My room was on the 6th floor, amazing view to Pantheon and Eiffel tower. The windows of my room were overlooking Bd St Marcel, however it was quiet, there was no noise. The room was nice and clean, good size for Paris, the bathroom was also in a very good condition. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great hotel, very clean, staff extremely helpful and excellent location. Metro a few minutes walk away or alternatively if you enjoy walking and taking in the amazing sights that each street has to offer then it ticks all the boxes.
