We absolutely loved Golden Silk Boutique Hotel. It's located in such a great place near the old part of Ha Noi and the lake. The people were so welcoming and went out of their way to help all the time. The breakfast was soooo good. I highly recommend this place!

The staff were very helpful with translating when we had a taxi payment issue . They were always available to help with luggage etc especially when it was Tet for them .

The hotel seems very old and in need of repairs. Our room had no windows. The shower faucet came off the walll when I tried to turn it on. That being said, the staff was very nice and friendly.

Housekeeping was terrible. We checked into a dirty room. which too 2 requests to correct. .. some staff were very helpful, others not so much. Good location, but hotel is aging fast...

I did not stay because too noisy. Room windows too thin do not protect from noise. If you are noice sensitive do not choose this Hotel.

Both homestay's where were very relaxing with great facilities and beds, and the hosts were fantastic. The hotel was great as well had everything and very comfortable.

ホテル紹介写真からは判りずらい古さがありました。ランクの低い部屋は窓が無く閉塞感が感じます。オールドクオーターの中心地に近く周辺を探索するには非常に便利です。

Even though it is a VIP hotel, they did not offer an upgrade even though there was availability. Also the rooftop was closed, the stuff was hitting on me and did not let me have calm breakfast. It was all over a bad experience. Even though I did not have a window, I heard the cars honking.

It was a very convenient location near Kiem lake. The balcony overlooking the busy street was fun but didn't seem to loud when we had the door closed.

Good location but wish it was a cleaner experience. Came back to the room one night to find trash (food packaging etc) on the floor and lumps of hair on the bed. As it was late, did not call for rectifications and simply avoided the dirty areas. Trash was cleared the next day.

旧市街の騒音はあるがまぁまぁ良い
空港からExpress Bus (86番)でCentral Post Officeで下車後、旧市街の慌ただしいエリアを歩いて10分弱。 設備や客室は年季が入っているがコロナ明けでも整備されていた。宿泊した4階の客室にはバスタブや金庫が備え付けられ、表通りに面した窓からは旧市街の雰囲気を感じられた。ただし防音に問題があり、夜遅くまでと早朝からバイクや車のクラクションの音が聞こえるため、朝もゆっくりは寝られない（旧市街の立地では仕方ないが)。清掃係や他の宿泊客の出歩く音も、室内にいて聞こえる。朝食会場の10階レストランはテラスの雰囲気がよい。メニューはベトナム料理とヨーロッパ系の料理で可もなく不可もなく。チェックアウト後、Grabで空港まで行こうとしていたが表示料金を見て、より安価なタクシーを手配してくれた。

Heb kamer gehuurd met raam. Het raam gaf uit op een overdekte opslagplaats van warm water en dus viel er niets te zien. Waarom betaal ik dan meer om een raam te hebben. Het ontbijt is ook zeer beperkt.

Our first check-in wasn't really good. Staff were not friendly, the room wasn't very nice... after 2 or 3 nights we went to Ha Long Bay... and after we booked another hotel... we received email from hotel and they informed us for upgrading the room. When we back we met Emily (hotel manager) Emily is cuch nice lady, she was helpful and very friendly. She did apologise to us and upgrading our room, and we stayed only one night more... because we already had booked another hotel. Before checked out we ask to buy a bath towels... Emily wasn't there and staff had to ask about... the answer was YES we can buy... and when we try to pay, the girls say, no need to pay... Emily said it be free for us... so we had nice benefit and souvenir from the hotel...thank you Emily! P.S. If all staff were like Emily the hotel be perfect without any complaints, and we will stay for 10 nights as we booked. Hope they be better in the future. Once again THANK YOU EMILY for every thing you did for us! ❤️

Great location in old town Hanoi. Walk out the door and leave the tranquil peace of the hotel for the chaos of busy Hanoi. We stayed 3 times over a 3 week holiday as we went out to other areas. The last time we upgraded to a street view room with balcony and loved that. Don't really like an inside room. Staff and service was excellent. Food was good.

hotel moyen sans plus... evitez la vue sur la court elle est horrible, le buffet est plutot moyen, pour ce qui est de la chambre ils auraient pu ajouter des prises de courant il n'y en a qu'1. le pire c'est quand vous voulez prendre un bain, l'eau chaude a fond c'est l'equivalent de tiede, voir froid, impossible de prendre un bain dans ces condition! le sky bar, ce résume a une terrasse de qques m2 vide... en revanche rue trés commercial...

Everyone is super nice. We’re on a busy road so it is a little unnerving to cross it, when we ordered a taxi the staff helped us cross the road to get to it.

However, for the problem of hot water we did compensation by free late check out at 20h00 & you also took it. You also complain about the distant from hotel to Hoan Kiem lake, but it's truth, 400m - you can check by google map. We stayed for three nights in two rooms (2 nights - 1 night cruise Ha Long Bay - 1 night). Our first stay was fine - the hotel is a little dated but clean and tidy. The reception on the TV is bad but that didn’t really bother us. On our second stay, we arrived at reception at 5pm to be told there was a problem with one of our rooms and the hotel only had the presidential suite available for us. As we were three guests, we had booked a standard room and a luxury suite with twin beds. We were offered the Presidential suite and agreed to take a look at it - we went up and saw that two fold out beds had been placed into the room. As we were tired from our drive back from Ha Long Bay, we begrudgingly accepted. We enquires about a refund for one of our rooms, but we’re told that we were not getting a refund as the Presidential suite is bigger - totally missing the point of the fact that we had booked two rooms in order to have some privacy. The Presidential suite is certainly not suitable for presidents. The AC is very loud and unresponsive - the room was freezing cold regardless of the temperature set. The fold out beds were uncomfortable and of a much lower standard than the other hotel beds. The shower only had one setting - scalding hot. And in the main living area, there were some LED lights that could not be switched off, making it very difficult to get to sleep.

リピーターになりそうなホテルです！
フロントスタッフは気さくで優しかった。 シャワーのお湯が弱い！と伝えたら、翌日には修理されていた。 部屋は少しだけ古いが、雰囲気がある。 ベランダ付きの部屋でしたので、喫煙者には便利だと思います。場所も旧市街でホアンキエム湖に近くて最高。

Good hotel and very good location
Clean and well kept and the staff was great and I liked the hotel but their wifi was not so good which was important because I was there on business.

This hotel absolutely exceeded our expectations. The room was a little small by American standards, but more than made up for it with the gorgeous decor and ammenities.The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, helping us with tours, transportation and places to go that were within walking distance. The breakfast buffet had something for all tastes. If we go back to Hanoi again, we will definitely stay there.
