My stay was really good for the weeks that I was there. Staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The facility was kept clean and they offered nice amenities such as an indoor pool, laundry, a fitness room and daily breakfast. The only reason I didn’t give it an “excellent” across the board is due to the noise level of guests. Very loud in the halls and children running up and down the floor on multiple occasions. Other than that, I had an excellent stay.

Place was run down and dirty. They were tearing down their tiki bar which was rather noisy. The walls are paper thin and can hear everything from neighboring room. Also only had one operable elevator that could only carry 4 people at a time and we were on the top level and it took forever to get an elevator when we had to leave. We had previously stayed here and had similar problem in addition to our car being hit in the parking lot and the person hit and ran.

I didnt like anything about the property. Very dirty, nasty and unkept. Children running up and the halls throwing ice at each other. Making loud noises all night. I called for extra towels, never got them, had to go downstairs to get them. Bathroom was horrible, the tub had millions of cracks, look like hair. No rubber mat in tub to keep from slipping. Holes in walls in the bedroom. Fridge & cooling system didnt work. The cabinets in the mini kitchen were broken. Unsatisfied customer!!

This place has many opportunities to work on, i was on floor 5 and the elevators are sketchy as all get out but i wasnt gonna walk 5 floors of stairs each time i went downstairs. Only 4 people allowed per elevator and 2 of them were broken. Lots of guests and the1 elevator tht can only hold 4 people at a time is ridiculous with 9 floors of people.and the painted chipping tube was way leds satisfying. I will never come back and have bad recommendations for all who would waste there money here

The room was very comfortable but did not have a fridge or microwave. They are currently doing some upgrades on the elevators. Most of the breakfast was good, peppers and potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausage. Sausage was bland, eggs good and warm, potatoes were okay but were a bit cold. There was no option for waffles, would suggest purchasing one as there is counter space for one.

Normally I'm not one to complain, but this experience really upset me. The first room smelled musty and like there was no air circulating- even after messing with the air controls. I asked for a new room that evening. The next room had clear and visible mold right under a ceiling tile in the shower that wasnt discovered the first night. I ended up wheezing really bad. When i pointed out these concerns at the front desk, they spoke to each other in a different language- which I normally don't care- but is really rude when I'm standing there with a valid safety concern. They offered me a third room. This is a joke considering why I was complaining. An additional note is that there were clear leaks all around the property where the ice machines normally were. Im talking literal water puddles. The elevators were also pretty sketchy in how they smelled and had a weird jumpy delay in movement. I would absolutely NOT recommend staying here.

I hate giving a negative review but I hope it helps someone decide on whether they will spend the money to bring their family here. This place is filthy. Curtains, bathroom floor, sheets, walls all of it so so dirty! I can report that I DID NOT find any bed bugs. The pool was freezing! We ended up just leaving the pool early because it was too cold to swim. When it was brought up to the front desk’s attention they had no interest in us. The weekend breakfast is advertised on the website as being open until 10. The people working were rude, taking food away from people (yeah I wish I was making that up!) When my husband asked why they were cleaning up, he was told they were done with breakfast at 9 and was told (very rudely) to take the issue up with the front desk. While at breakfast we were told, by another hotel guest, to not let our children out of our sight. Because there were 4 guys walking around, making him feel very uneasy. And that someone tried to get into their room in the middle of the night. I never witnessed this but it should be known. Our family decided to just eat the money for the next 2 nights that we were suppose to stay and go to a different hotel. The only positive from this experience is that the location was ideal for traveling to the zoo.

Room was dirty and had to switch rooms, there was a weird smell in the second room, elevators were sooo slow, pool was ice cold, tv didn’t work in the first or second room…. I don’t recommend staying here. We will not be back to this hotel :( very disappointing

Our room had water stains on the ceiling and there was almost no water pressure in the shower. Also our sink was practically clogged, it took the water a long time to go down. There was staff working on the door across the hall from us and we could barely get our luggage in as they were all crowded by the door and didn’t even acknowledge us when we said excuse me. We went for dinner in the bar/restaurant area and they had only 1 person bartending/serving during a Friday evening. There were mulitple employees drinking at the bar and not working. They were telling us that they worked there but weren’t on the clock and they didn’t seem to care what was going on. They helped themselves to drinks. We ended up ordering our food Togo as we didn’t have much foot with us as we were stopping for the night on our road trip and realized they didn’t even have a cook working. Went to go cancel order and bartender assured us food was almost done…after waiting already 30 min or more. Still didn’t see anyone cooking (you could see in the kitchen) after 45 min we were about to walk out but then saw someone go in kitchen and start cooking. Got food 20 min later that was cold and just overall not worth the wait. The bartender was nice but you could tell he was flustered and didn’t really know what was going on. Saw multiple people/families walk out. Front desk people were nice but didn’t seem to care about the issues. Overall definitely would not recommend staying there

After working on the road doing construction for 20 years I’ve stayed at some bad places. This ranks right at the top. Only thing was this was supposed to be a family get away. Our room was far from desirable. Stains on the bedding, bathroom door would not close because the hinge screws were coming out, the toilet continued to run after flushing, and the shower didn’t drain worth a damn. Take a quick shower and you were standing in 4” of water by the time you were done. Then to top it all of the elevators were not working properly. So ended up taking the stairs several times and each time it smelled like someone had just been smoking pot in the staircase. I spoke with staff a couple of times so I hope they at least fix the issues in the room. We won’t be staying there again

Staff were helpful, curteous, and greeted us with a smile. Facilities had received a facelift to give a more modern look but the infrastructure is showing its age, with cosmetic repairs needed here and there. That's to be expected, we still got a good value for the price we paid. There are 3 elevators, but they are tiny & slow and waiting for an elevator takes forever. Every time we'd go up or down we'd hear guests grumble; staff were understandably impatient. Taking the stairs is not an option, that sets off the fire alarm. Breakfast was okay, not great, not bad. Get there well before the end time though -- there was still a line of people getting food at 9am when the staff cleared the food away. It was too early to end breakfast (my kids were all still asleep), but they didn't want guests to take food to their rooms either. My biggest complaint was that the hotel apparently lacks a policy which many other hotels have about not allowing locals to rent rooms. The pool was overcrowded, extremely loud to the point of barely being able to hear the person next to you yelling, and chaotic with splashing, running, and doing cannon balls. Most of the guests looked to be in their teens/20s and appeared to be attending one of two parties being hosted in the hotel with loud music thumping (thankfully couldn't be heard from our 4th floor room). Several females' chests and behinds were falling out of their swimsuits, others were in street clothes. Not a family environment at all.

Attempted upgrades resulted in peeling tub lining and questionable taping jobs. The elevators are slow and minuscule. The one person that fit in with my husband and I, I introduced myself and gave her my zodiac sign. We were close. Our first room had no air conditioning and questionable odor. My husband left an unquestionable odor in the bathroom and we changed rooms. No drink menu at the bar and limited food menu. We will try a new place next trip.

I booked a suite with 3-king size beds but got 1 king and 2-queens. There was a dip in the floor that i actually fell in the room because of it. There was no inside door knob on the suite part. Both bathrooms had filthy walls. Positive was a great breakfast buffet.

We stayed in the suite with three queen beds. We had gnats all over in the bathroom, there was water damage in the bathroom w molding in hallway, the room my kids slept in had the loudest heater ever, tv did not work and when called they said didn’t have tv, the main room also did not cool down even when switched to AC. Beds extremely uncomfortable to point kids chose floor over bed. We arrived and they had contractors doing work w no safety signs up, the internet didn’t work when we arrived causing a 20 min check in delay, they charged us $100 deposit to check in after we spent $150 for one night. Granted we got the deposit back - just seems stupid to charge $ for Checking in on top of the staff didn’t explain anything. I had to call and ask about pool time and breakfast time because nothing was told to us at check in. We will not be back. Very disappointed for the amount we spent for one night. The pool was even cold and like ice. Just bad experience

I travel a lot for work and pleasure but this was my worst hotel stay ever. There was a water pipe leak that caused a flooding situation. We were all waken by a fire alarm at 1am and were disturbed. The phone and TV were not working for two full days and the environment was unsafe because some neighbors with shady character were knocking at doors in the middle of the night looking to use people’s phone. This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced and will never go back there! I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone!

Good, Relaxing Stay
Booked the jacuzzi suite with the fireplace and sectional sofa. The sofa appeared dirty (some kind of white powder or something embedded in the upholstery fibers). The walls of the bedroom had some kind of orange residue that had appeared to run down the wall and then dried, presumably from the humidity of the jacuzzi. There were whole spots of paint missing from the wall as well. The restaurant was also inexplicably closed, so i had to find food. The bathrooms, however, appeared pristine and the bed, linens and pillows were clean and quite cozy. The jacuzzi tub appeared to be well-maintained and very clean. The water is very hot very fast, so it didnt take long to fill at the right temperature. The heater/air conditioner worked VERY well. Overall, it was a quiet, relaxing experience. The front desk staff are very helful and kind. It was a good stay, i just wish there were a little more attention to detail. For the price point, this room is a good deal and, overall, i would recommend.

This hotel definitely needs some upgrades. The tv didn’t work, maintenance came, worked on it for 20 minutes, couldn’t get it to work and said he’d be right back. Never came back. The heater vibrated very loadly when running. Bathtub finish was peeling. Hole in bathroom door not completely though door. On the plus, the bed was comfy.

Save yourself the trouble, book somewhere else
This hotel is the worst place I’ve ever attempted to stay. After them moving us to 3 different rooms they finally gave us a refund so we could go elsewhere. The elevators are so small only two people can fit in them and you feel like you’re going to get stuck every time. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. One room was at least 80 degrees, the bathtub was so gross, there was hair all over the bed and the smell of the entire floor was so overwhelming. The second room had dead bugs on the floor, dirt along the wall, another gross bathroom, a giant blue stain on the floor. There were cigarette burns on the blanket and when I took that odd the sheets had blood stains on them. When I told the front desk they said “housekeeping is closed so I can’t get you new bedding.” I was absolutely amazed at how unhelpful the front desk was. I tried to call corporate and that was a fail. Finally someone came that could refund us. It’s pending but I’m hoping for the best. If you read this far and are still considering staying here, just don’t. The other families we were with had the exact same experiences.
