There wasn't much we liked about The Horseshoe Hotel. It was supposedly "completely remodeled" but all they really did was take Bally's and slap some lipstick on that pig of a property. Sure the rooms have bew beds, furniture and TVs, but the bathrooms are in poor condition, as is all the carpetin throughout the entire property. I paid for a room with a view of the Bellagio fountain and it was later explained to me that they dont even have rooms with that view anymore.
The check-in process is now handled by a kiosk, not a person. The casino is shabby at best. It reminded me of the first casino Trent and Mikey visited in the movie Swingers. Awful. We still had to pay a nightly resort fee even though the pool wasnt even open. You had to go to the Paris Hotel pool if you wanted to swim.
If you are lucky enough to get a view of the High Roller and Sphere, you'll unfortunately be subjected to constant road noise from Flamingo Blvd and consistent fire truck and ambulance sirens.
The only saving grace was the property's easy access to the Paris Hotel, casino and restaurants. Do yourself a favor and don't be fooled by The Horseshoe's false claims of fountain views and complete remodel. Spend the extra money and stay at a hotel worthy of your hard earned dollar, because this place isn't.
