Family run bed & breakfast in an oasis. The home is large. Two buildings, each on opposite sides of an open courtyard. A sitting area on the second floor looking out over the courtyard in one building. The kitchen is open to the courtyard, no walls but covered. It’s darling. The decor is traditional Mexican. Pretty colors. Lots of greenery. And on top of this there is also a very large enclosed back yard. The WiFi was good, the breakfast and especially the coffee excellent. The couple who run the B&B were helpful and kind.

Eslie and her husband have an amazing property. The rooms are off a courtyard and if it had not been raining would have been lovely to sit out there and have a coffee. They are just a few blocks from the central part of Tlaquepaque making it ideal to walk there and back. The rooms are everything you need, super clean and done up with local flavours. We had a wonderful substantial breakfast every morning to set off our day. Great local quiet spot and got really good information on how to get around and places to see. Highly recommend!!

Great location, 2-3 blocks from centro. Breakfast cooked to order. Comfortable room. Wonderful, English speaking owners and most adorable son. Stayed there twice during a 7 day trip. Overall, great place for the price. Will definitely stay again.

Just around the corner you can find a “cenaduria” so you can get all the Mexican dishes very cheap, the staff at the hotel is great, hotel room clean, big and cozy just love it.

Very short but great stay & will absolutely return
I was only at the hotel for a couple of hours because I had a very early flight in the morning. The hotel is pet friendly, and that is why I chose this hotel because I had my dog with me. There was a dog that was barking a little during the night, but it is expected when a hotel has this policy. The gentleman who checked me in, and I apologize for not remembering his name is the same man who unlocked the door for me at 3:30am when it was time for me to head to the airport. He was excellent, spoke English and I felt that he made sure that I made it to my car safely at 3:30am which was a block and a half from the hotel. I am familiar with this neighborhood and will absolutely stay at this property again. I have parked at the parking lot that the hotel uses many times and would have no problems parking there except that they close at 1am and reopen at 6am which didn't work for this trip. My room was traditionally decorated and was very clean. The sheets were very nice and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room seemed very clean and had all the amenities that one would want and expect. The bathroom was stocked with many towels. I didn't not get to use the shower so I cannot comment.

Very close to downtown Tlaquepaque, clean room and friendly staff. Beds too small even for a couple of medium size , all they have is small full size beds

Did not like the small rooms and had to park the vehicle in a parking a lot a few blocks away from the property. Not free to come and go into the property, every time I had to step out, I would have to knock to gain access to the property.

Thank you for comments. Since I know until now that you don't like small rooms, I want to suggest you next time you make a booking using an online travel agencies be sure to review the room information; there you will find the area (size) of the room you want to reserve (even our rooms state the area in square meters) before you make a booking to avoid any "surprise". By the way, the distance to the parking place is also stated on our property information, and its exact location was provided on our confirmation message when you did your booking. Also the secure parking is provided free of charge despite is a private parking with a fee for public. For privacy and security reasons of other guests and my family, the main entrance is locked from inside when you go out (you can open the door yourself during the day, and if you need to go out during the night we will gladly open the door) and you have to knock when you come back so we can open the door, but there's no curfew at night.

I have been visiting this place for many years. Is a family owned business, the family treat you like family, they are super friendly. I could chose to stay somewhere else but this is the perfect place foray me when visiting Tlaquepaque.

Met our needs
Hotel is owned by a couple. They were friendly. Room was small but met needs. My only complaint is about the bathroom. There were some hairs in the corner of the shower and the shower head had build up. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, coffee, eggs cooked when ordered, and toast. The weather was nice which worked out as seating is outdoors. There was plenty of hand sanitizer around the hotel. Great location, walking distance from downtown Tlaquepaque.

Great place in Tlaquepaque
Really kind, attentive hosts/owners. Beautiful, colorful room. Close walking distance to the main plaza. Felt there was possibility of noise between rooms, but I didn't have that experience. Overall great and would definitely stay again!

This bed and breakfast is the most amazing place i have ever stayed! Super clean, welcoming and homie!! The customer service is exceptional!! Even tho the front door gets close there is always someone to open it whenerver going in or out. It truly feels like home!! It's only a coulle blocks away from downtown. I definitely recomend it!! Thank you foe an amazing service.

We need it to rest after our flight next day , but someone dog by 7 am was barking for more then hour.So it was not good rest for 2 days.

We do have a dog in the hotel, but she rarely barks, and as soon as she barks, we make her stop. Want a getaway withing a getaway? This is the spot for you! Best bed & breakfast, short walking distance from the main plaza, shopping, restaurants. Host's are amazing they know the city in and out and are always happy to help out. Rooms... cant say much it will ruin the surprise but just imagine staying at a Mexican Hacienda. (Wont regret it!)

Location, staff, breakfast, wi-fi, safety were all great in this wonderful hotel in a fantastic town. Very helpful owners who speak fluent English. Charming traditional hotel. No AC or parking but I did not need either.

Very friendly family run B and B close to central activity in Tlaquepaque. Although rooms and bathroom were on the small side, the accommodating and pleasant staff made it well worth the stay. It is also a beautiful traditional setting.

For the price I expected better conditions, I read the comments and most were positive, but believe the place isn’t I want to recommend to my family and friends!!I . I am allergic to mosquitoes and in the room was so many flying around my and they don’t let me sleep that bit me I get infected, I do not recommend it

Sorry you had a bad experience. Rainy season is also mosquito season. Guess that would be the bad side of having big gardens and lots of vegetation. That is why we fumigate constantly and also have in each room a device to keep mosquitos away. All you have to do is plug it, and every day you have a new one. Also if you need repelent, all you had to do is ask for it, we are happy to provide some for our guests.

This might not be considered a 5 star hotel but it was so peaceful and had such a homey feeling that for me it made it better than a 5 star hotel!!!!

Small but very pleasant
Two long block walk from car park to the Casa, we were greeted in English, a plus already! The room was small, but had good WiFi and a little balcony. A hot water pot and two mugs were set on a little table with two water bottles and glasses near the cable TV. A portable heater and fan were available, but not used by us. The bed was a double with extra pillows and blankets in a closet. TV had winter olympics on one channel, so we watched with Spanish commentators. We don't know if there were English stations on this Dish Cable. As we left the Casa before 8:30 a.m., we cannot comment on the breakfast. Plenty of hot water for showers with soap etc. and even a no-slip mat available were in evidence. The only negative was a couple of long very dark hairs on the edge of the bathroom floor, which the maid missed when cleaning. Location is a short walk from the tourist center which has several good restaurants. A full day of car park was 120 pesoes.

Good location
The location was great, as were the hosts. Comfortable bed and good wifi. Heater provided in the room, and was needed as it was quite cool some nights. The room could use some tlc, but otherwise, a good stay.

Nice hotel, close to town
Really liked this hotel and will stay there again. The only thing they can do is take better care of the gardens. There was not enough sitting and the one bench was very dusty. It would be nice to be able to sit outside on a well cared garden.

Great place in Tlaquepaque
We had a very enjoyable stay. The owners both speak fluent English and are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, about 3 blocks from the downtown area. The rooms are in a courtyard and are very quiet at night.
