Beautiful place to stay
It was a last minute booking in a very busy town and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. The room was lovely, clean and close to everything. Breakfast was amazing! Staff so pleasant. It was a great place to stay.

Delight in town
We loved staying in the Florence Dream annex. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the cool quiet right in the middle of the bustling town. We loved Merley too and breakfast was great. If stairs are an issue this place is sadly not for you but otherwise we recommend. So close to everything, a delight!

Its a classic traditional building, with no elevator, we needed to take all our luggage by ourselves, for 2 flight of stairs. Wi fi did not work properly. Breakfast was a buffet with different items to choose from, a variety of coffees, teas and juices, and eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, breads and pastries. But the location was excellent. just a few blocks from the Academy and the Duomo.

As a travel consultant I would never recommend this property. It is not up to code and the pictures that are displayed on the web site are very deceiving. There are no smoke alarms or sprinkle system in the rooms or throughout the building, no alarm in the elevator if you get stuck.TV didn't work the air was very minimal and the elevator was like closet which we got stuck in and no air. That was just the annex but the main hotel part also had no smoke alarms or sprinkle system, a remote control to open and close the gate which didn't work and the check in was a dining room table and one person to handle the check in, bring the luggage in. The safe you can pick it up and take it with you was not bolted down. When my husband took his shower the water was just pouring out from under the door and all over the floor. This place was a completer disaster. My son and his wife's room was like a closet and the bed was a rock and the tile was very very slippery and the water all over the place. I can go on and on how horrible this hotel is.As a travel consultant I would never never sell this property. This hotel should be taken off the list of hotel on your web site. My email is LSKEEPSAKE@AOL.COM. I feel a refund is in order for the two rooms for all of our inconvience. I loved that it was in an authentic building and close to everything. The reception lady was lovely and very attentive. Check in on was real easy. The shower was too small and it was leaking on the floor. The sink area could use some kind of a shelf of small table to hold products/towels. Overall we were very happy with the place. We traveled as a family of 4

WE loved our stay here. The nicest woman, Marylee(not sure how to spell) was amazing. She made our Anniversary so special. Breakfast was delicious and she whipped up eggs and cappuccinos like it was nothing. Our room was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Grazie!!!

We had booked for 3 adults for 3 nights 2.5 months earlier. Morning of our check-in we get a message that we are supposed to check-in at another hotel. And next two days we will will be put up in another place close to our original booking. We had made all our plans and booked our tours. It made everything difficult. We asked them to transfer our luggage to the new place. They made that as a big favor they did to us. Though we had booked for 3 adults they made a big deal about putting us up in a "junior suite". Overall a complete mis management of our booking and stay.

Reception disappeared straight after I checked in. Place empty except for myself. Air conditioner not working, room very hot and power points almost coming out of the walls. Nobody around to speak to. Front door to hotel (2nd floor only) difficult to open, but no one around to let you in or help you. Ended up leaving and did not get any refund despite explaining to the manager how uncomfortable this experience was as a solo female traveller.

Great Stay in Florence
Great location for exploring inner Florence. Breakfast very good. Host Marilee does great job assisting guests including carrying bags upstairs (3 flights). Wifi works well. A bit smelly in stairs coming up but does not come into the hotel area.

Ok stay since hotel is near the tourist spot. Close to the Duomo. Remember to reply to their email message the day before your arrival so that someone can assist you with checking in since their front desk is not 24 Hours

Great location! Decent rooms.
Great location and comfortable room, but it needed some upgrades. The Jacuzzi tub was broken and some lights didn’t work. It was a bit noisy at night, but due more to noisy guests in adjacent rooms. Overall, good value.

Very close to everything!! The room was clean enough but I found lots of dust and old dirt behind/beside things. The last day and half there ran out of water. I woke up at 3am so thirsty but no water :(

Location was absolutley perfect. Room has all of the things you could ever need and a nice spacious bathroom, however the room was quite dusty and the piece in the shower that holds up the shower head was broken. Overall enjoyed my stay, rooms just need a few updates.

Hard to find
The location is great, but other than that, it’s just okay. It’s located on floor two (which is actually the third floor) and isn’t well marked at all from the outside. The lady who runs it was very nice and welcoming. It’s more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel though. As long as you know hat going in, it’s fine. It was a short walk from the train stain and very near to the Duomo.

This was a convenient location but we had mosquitoes s in the room without the window open. It would have been nice to let in fresh air but mostly not get bitten. Their sign said they changed the towels on the 3rd day but we stayed 5 nights and never had that service. There were a couple hotels on the same block so Id check those if I return to Firenze.

Lovely place. We really appreciated the water available to us at no charge. This was the only place out of 5 that acknowledged our anniversary. That meant so much to us:) We has a small balcony that over looked a lovely space. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was kind and helpful. Perfect location right next to the market.one direction and the other way to all the sites. Perfectly delightful.

This was probably my favorite room of our trip. It had so much charm and so much room! They had, by far, the best breakfast of our entire stay. I don't know what is in those croissants but I could have eaten them all. They still use the fun old fashioned keys too! The staff was so helpful, friendly and so accommodating. We loved our stay here.

Great central location, interesting decor
Merley who runs the place bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. But electricals, wifi were temperamental. Converted palazzo so looks wonderful but like all old buildings has its problems.

Nice little place best location
We loved this hotel , the service is exceptional due to the staff . Breakfast was good and ask for cappuccino! Rooms always clean and bed was big . The location is perfect and loved that there was a grocery in front and a pharmacy and everything close by walking. The only problem was that the little fridge didn’t work but staff were great and kept my Daughter’s lactose free milk in their big fridge. Really kind staff! Oh and the stairs are a little tiring.

Superb location
Me and my husband stayed for three nights, cracking location right on top of all the main sights, everything was no more then 15/20 mins or less walk away. It’s three flights of stairs up so take note if this would make it difficult for you. Do take bug spray/bite cream. It was too warm not to have the windows open and I got bit by mozzies during the night. The bed was too firm for me and I had to ask for extra pillows, but the bed suited my husband just fine! We stayed in cosimo1. Take ear plugs for that room if you’re a light sleeper as the room is next to the entrance where the door bell goes off and the room has a tiny fuse box next to the bed that hums. Other than those tiny gripes it’s a fantastic little hotel and the breakfast sets you up for the day.

This is not a hotel
Although they claim they are a hotel, they are not - they are a bed and breakfast. They do not have Internet and they do not have parking. You will also need to carry your suitcases up the stairs because there is no elevator. The only good part of our stay was the woman who worked there, as she was very nice.

Lovely, but....
The good: manager was awesome, she carried my heavy suitcase up 2 sets of stairs, she was gracious throughout my stay, hotel had a lovely old world design, breakfast was lovely, great to have easy access to hot/cold water, location is close to most sights. The bad: Florence must use off season for construction, as it was literally everywhere & thus much was unattractive, full of detours, and sewer system smells, next door neighbors were also loud per construction (yes, hammering, etc. Almost All day), no lift in hotel so be prepared.

Our room was beautiful and the location was very convenient. We were aware of the stairs ahead of time, so that was not a problem. We were there for a conference at the convention center, which was a 10 minute walk away. The internet was spotty, at best. We were able to use the wireless in the lobby only, as the signal was very weak in the room. The available computer in the lobby is functional, but slow. The breakfast was simple, with breads, Nutella and jams, yogurt and coffee. A sign says that they will cook eggs for you, but the woman never offered and I felt uncomfortable asking. The coffee was good. One night it rained heavily and we had to contend with a leak in the bathroom ceiling, but it wasn't a major inconvenience. One thing that left a bad impression was that they were insisting that we pay in cash because they were having troubles with their credit card machine. We were staying for six nights and we certainly didn't have enough cash to cover that expense. The woman was insistent that I go to a bank and withdraw money, but after I insisted that I was not going to do that, the credit card machine magically worked. The front desk is not manned throughout the day, which I think could be an inconvenience for people who rely on hotel staff for help. Restaurant Pepo, around the corner, was great. The grocery store across the street was perfect for snacks, drinks, etc. If your check-in time will be odd, be sure to let them know, or you might end up stuck on the street.
