This is an old building in a smallnold town. But its close (15km) from Mont St Michel, which is why I was there. Parking was good - free and across the road. They've done a great job turning it into a small hotel. The food that came out of the kitchen while it wasn't what I had ordered, was fantastic and I throughly enjoyed it. And their beers. Amazing. Thw only downside to the food is that it had to be ordered well in advance and inhsd to schedule my dinner time when I checked in that evening. Odd, but not really a big deal. The room was small, but spacious enough to move around in and overal was comfortable. Bed was so/so although I've come to realize that most beds in Europe seem to be on the harder side. The pillows sucked. They were close to rocks. Thats really the only thing that brought the rating down from a 5. It sounds like a small thing.. but those hard pillows would probably keep me from staying there again... but some dont mind that and everything else was great.
Great service, fast check in. Rep was very helpful with providing local information. In the very small town of Ducey. Hotel is next to the Sélune river. At night you can open the door and sleep with the calming sound of the river.
Property is next the river, a beautiful spot, was easy to find, the parking was also easy to find, even before checking in. Room and bathroom was clean and warm. Staff we super helpful and friendly. Dinner on Saturday night was great and efficient, we had to book before 6pm. No dinner options on Sunday but luckily they booked us in the Pizzeria down the street. Shame other 2 restaurants were holiday at the same time. A 30 min drive to Mont Saint Michel which is a must see. Omaha is 1.5 hours drive. Would love to see the Ducey Village in the summer time as it is beautiful.
Property was like new, but it is over a river and the room seemed a bit cold. Also there was bit of a chemical "new" smell. The staff was excellent, breakfast fantastic, neighborhood quiet, walkable, enjoyable, picturesque.
This location was just amazing!
It is centrally located to most all iconic landmarks & sights.
The neighborhood was well lit, easily accessible and we felt very secure & safe.
The Host/Receptionist’s could not have been nicer or any more accommodating to/for us.
Always responds quickly & kindly and made us feel we had known them our entire lives.
I would recommend this location for all these reasons & the facet it was extremely clean-spotless!
The bedding, towels and amenities were above as described on their website.
For so many more reasons that won’t allow here, I would recommend this to all my friends, Family and fellow Travelers!
Thank you once again for an amazing experience!

Very nice renovated hotel. High tech outlets with USB outlets.
Negatives: very expensive breakfast 15 euros for nothing special.
No shampoo
Bubble soap was empty.
Bien dans l'ensemble. Seul bémol, absence de climatisation. Par contre, un ventilateur était disponible dans la chambre. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Petite ville qui présente un beau cachet.
It's a very nice location. We loved the sound of the waters of the river nearby. The food was excellent!!
Even though there is no air-conditioning, the fans did a good job of maintaining the air cool enough.
Love this location. I've stayed here several times and this time we had a room overlooking the river which was beautiful. The diner is always good and it's close to the Mt. St. Michel. We were lucky and were able to visit the Tuesday morning open air market. Downside was no air conditioning and it was hot but this was unusual for the location.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Very small room, no air conditioning, in the aisles there was a strong smell probably due to some recent carpet renovation.
Very quaint hotel in a beautiful location. The lady who checked us in was awesome & very informative. We feel she went about and beyond to make sure we had information that would help our stay.
We stayed here on our way to a weeks stay in a house with our family. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a beautiful room overlooking the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The property is somewhat remote, so transportation might be an issue without a car. The hotel offers breakfast and dinner. We didn't feel like driving for miles so we took both options. The dining experience was excellent and convenient.
Nice facility and staff. Breakfast available for a price. Located in a charming French town, and convenient to the tourist attraction, Mount St Michael.
The property is in an easy and accessible distance to St. Malo by car. The village is quaint and the property is clean, comfortable and quaint. Breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hotel as a good value option for the area.
This was a good place for a stopover on the borders of Brittany and Normandy. Staff were charming and helpful and the dinner and breakfast were excellent.
Easy to locate and park. No air conditioning but the town is so quiet it's easy to sleep with the window open and use the fan provided. Only issue in the area is finding food after 5. Only place open was a kebab shop which is really good, but if you're there for more than one night no other options are available. Only a 20 minute drive to parrking at mont st michel.
The location of the hotel is amazing. The view of the moulin and river from our room was incredible. The breakfast buffet consisted of fresh local products and was by far the best we had on our 3 week trip. Ducey itself is beautiful and quiet. A nice change after dealing with crowds and traffic for multiple days
Wonderful sound of the river, excellent parking opposite. Warm welcome, English speaking, nothing was any trouble, even sorting us out with a snack when we hadn’t reserved dinner, breakfast very good, with plenty of choices and good coffee !
We found the Best Western Le Moulin De Ducey to be an attractive, well-kept hotel. The staff was friendly and professional. Our room, at the back of the hotel, was comfortable and had a nice view. We arrived too late to have dinner, so I cannot review the hotel restaurant. As others have noted, the Best Western Le Moulin De Ducey is well located for those planning on a visit to Mont St Michel.
Cute town and pretty location on the water. Hotel is basic, but served its purpose for a one night sleep. Compliant is with check-in. Hotels.com lists until 10:30pm so I didn’t think I needed to call but got a call at 8:30pm asking where I was. When we got to the hotel at 8:40pm was told we were lucky because the one receptionist was leaving in a few minutes. We had 3 rooms so not sure why she felt she could leave early. When she did leave, we were alone in the hotel. Weird and spooky. I’ve never stayed at a hotel with no staff on site. Had issues with the drain backing up in the one room. Recommendation: come to take pictures of the town but stay somewhere else
