Great four star hotel; definitely not a five star as it is advertised. Staff was as good as could be, friendly and solicitous, but the rooms, while spacious and perfectly nice, are not up to a typical 5 star standard. Peeling wallpaper, no bathrobe or slippers, not plush towels, etc. The hotel also has a very commercial feel as it hosts large cruise ship tours and airline personnel, so breakfasts, for example, felt overly crowded - not a criticism per se, but just not what I have typically seen with 5 star properties. At the end of the day, very Hilton but not very Waldorf.

The Imperial Hilton Hotel in Dubrovnik Croatia is a fantastic place to stay. The location could not be better, the views are incredible, the rooms are beautiful, the service is fantastic!!!

Breakfast wasn’t as good as other Hilton’s I’ve stayed in and although you can order some items there was no menu advising what you could have extra on top of the buffet. Pool and gym facilities looked very dated compared to the rest of the hotel. It missed having an outside pool and some where to relax in the sun too. Great hotel for a city break as right in the heart of the action and walking distance from most things if you are fit and active. We had to order Uber for my parents who can’t walk so far. Definitely not a good place for people with walking difficulties as lots of steps including up to the hotel entrance.

This hotel has a great location just outside the old city. Beautiful views, great breakfast and the service was fantastic. The guy at the bar was a little ‘dry’ so I didn’t give top marks but seriously fantastic people everywhere in the hotel.

Wonderful location just outside the city walls and close to the water. Hotel facilities were what you would expect for a 5 star, although the bar did not serve non/low alcohol beers, whereas everywhere else we went did. The double room was comfortable if poorly stocked with tea and coffee etc. The breakfasts were sufficient and the majority of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, as were most of the local people we met.

We loved this hotel in Dubrovnik. It felt very grand, but friendly at the same time. It’s five minutes walking to the Old Town. The breakfast was amazing. My window looked onto a quaint, quiet street. I would highly recommend.
