1. Night Check in Staff terrible; Day time desk staff helpful
2. Hotel Lobby Car coordinator- terrible.
3. Room, standard business hotel. 1 of the lights was flickering and 1 of the sockets was broken but generally the room was clean/decent
4. Breakfast - decent, although at the breakfast service had a decent spread i did see the salad station have several flies around one of the days.
5. Location is very good, connecting to the WTC with ease of access to the metro
6. Amenities pretty decent, nothing special
7. Other staff-room service/maintenance; breakfast staff were good and helpful
Major disappointments:
- Don't use the hotel taxi service or listen to the hotel lobby staff, they overcharge and they aren't real hotel drivers. They will give you random pricing and the drivers will try to scam you by saying paying by card is additional or they are crossing a toll when they are not even with prefixed price agreed. If you refuse to pay they will leave you on the side of the road, the hotel doesn't care. Be safe use Uber or Careem or the red cab Taxis, cheaper , safer and more reliable
- Night Check in Staff make up rules as they go along, and they can never get in touch with the reservation/accounts team (how convenient).
Best Staff member by miles was Julidynne Binua, she was helpful and always approachable. If only all the staff could be as helpful as her!
