Everything about this property was lovely, the decor and garden were beautiful, bed comfy and good bathroom. The owners were warm and welcoming. Breakfast delicious. Nice quiet neighbourhood yet only a short drive to beachfront. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Only one slight criticism was the bedroom was very hot. Otherwise perfect. Definitely one to return to.

Loved the decor and room size. Breakfast was brilliant. Parking a little tight. Very friendly owners.

Had a great stay. Close by to town and port by car 5 to 7 mins. Supermarkets were near by in walking distance. Room was spacious and plenty of breakfast options. Hoist lady was lovely and friendly.

Overall pleasant stay in great location
Lovely looking property with very welcoming owner who checked us in. The room was nicely decorated and spacious. Good amenities provided such as water and bottled milk in the fridge. Nice size ensuite bathroom, shower could be more powerful but there was constant hot water so that’s the main thing. Overall was a pleasant stay, great options for breakfast and freshly cooked by the owner. The owner has dogs so something to bare One improvement I would suggest is to descale the kettle regularly.

Loved the owners - so nice and welcoming!. So much to do while there that we did not get a chance to just relax and enjoy the property's amenities but will definitely be going back.

Beautifully Designed House & friendly Hosts
We really loved our stay at Birch House, the room and en-suite was enormous with a waterfall shower and bathtub, the bed was huge and very comfy. The room and house is beautifully designed and finished the photo's do not do it justice at all! Breakfast was delicious and a nice opportunity to meet the other guests and talk to the hosts who were incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you!

A really lovely B&B in a quiet location Warm welcome, very comfortable rooms...and loved the Ren toiletries! Great breakfast looking out at the lovely garden! Would definitely recommend

Lovely room, delicious breakfasts, home from home.
Highly recommend. We were sailing at Portland Sailing Academy, very convenient and a Morrisons 2 minutes away for lunch supplies and snacks.

Excellent stay in Dorset
Birch House suited me very well for a few days away. The house is first class in its style and décor, and very near to the roads at the back of Weymouth so easy to be off into Dorset (Poundbury, Lyme Regis, Chesil Beach, Hardy country, Corfe Castle, etc.) Room and breakfasts were excellent - I would thoroughly recommend.

We had a great stay at Birch House B&B, we were had extremely welcome, the room large, comfortable and very clean. a good location on the edge of town with easy access to the main transport links to the surrounding area and a nice walk into Weymouth and the beach. We would return for another visit.

A cut above the rest!
This B&B really is a cut above the rest. Our room was very large and well appointed and bed was really comfortable. The bathroom is amazing too. Breakfasts were excellent and the hosts were lovely. Very helpful and responsive to any questions of where to eat, etc.

Nice place just out of town slightly.

Very pleasant stay
My husband and myself stayed at Birch House for three nights. A warm welcome was provided by Cathy upon our arrival. Fantastic bedroom, very clean with king size bed very comfortable. Good facilities with Very good breakfast. Beautiful house near to amenities and local bus stops taking you to the beach. A very pleasant stay, which we would recommend to all, upon our visit to Weymouth again, we shall book with Birch House.

The B&B is spotless, has generous bedroom space, extremely comfortable with fine linens, lovely toiletries, in a thoughtfully created architectural residence. The house is filled with art and treasures to enjoy. The gardens are beautiful, breakfast was excellent, and the proprietor friendly, helpful, well informed and a true pleasure to chat with.

Amazing Birch House B&B!
Absolutely amazing B&B! Superb location with wonderful sea views from the hill. Friendly owners who offer a wide and tasty breakfast in the morning. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and it ticked every box. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone travelling to Weymouth. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here!

Fabulous house and a wonderful stay
Welcoming from the start with a pot of tea on arrival. Beautiful decor with homely feeling. Room and bed very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious - and all locally sourced where possible. Convenient for the town but need a car really to get down to the promenade. With ample street and some off road parking this wasn't an issue. Free wi-fi a bonus. Would definitely return.

Great service and location
I am US military stationed at RAF Lakenheath and found this stay very pleasant. The couple who run it are very accommodating, and will leave you with whatever privacy you need or want. No offense to the average English breakfast, but I'm usually not a huge fan. The breakfast at Birch House B&B was fantastic, but keep in mind still very English. Poached eggs on toast never tasted so good. Peter and Kathy really make this an incredible stay. Don't forget to hit the beach!

A place to return to.
Left this marvellous B&B on 9th August 2013. Breakfasts were top quality, especially the scrambled egg on toast with smoke salmon and the full monty breakfast. Clean, modern B&B with friendly staff. The owners were very pleasant and helpful and you were made to feel welcome. Will certainly return.

Very friendly and welcoming
Very friendly and made very welcome. Location was ideal for us with the surrounding area being quiet. Facilities were excellent and well maintained , whilst the owners were very helpful they were not intrusive.

Lovely Guest House
The owners are very helpful and offer a warm welcome. Their home is absolutely stunning and we would go back again if we were ever in the area. Also nice walk into the town centre past the lakes.
