Front entrance is in a weird spot, behind the Black Bear Diner. But no biggie once you find it. There's plenty of parking. Right by the highway but quiet once inside. The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful. Very friendly and informative. The hotel is definitely old. Some rooms exit outside, and some are into a poorly ventilated hallway. (Didn't smell bad, but definitely stuffy). We had an upstairs room. There is no elevator which was fine with us and the gentleman at check in confirmed that we didnt mind before assigning us a room. The room was pretty stuffy and the AC was pretty noisy, but got the room cooled down. The fridge was hot. Would've been nice if that was cold already. Pillows and towels were great and plentiful. Mattresses were old and sunken in the middle. Sink faucet sprayed all over. The large TV was nice, walls seemed insulated enough, and the breakfast was great. Overall, the hotel is definitely old and outdated. But the kind staff does what they can and it was a decent budget option right off the highway.

Great Surprise
This hotel has interior rooms that are quiet and just wonderful. Book a patio room, I stay at this hotel every time I travel to the area. Excellent price, includes breakfast and a gym pass.

The hotel was very clean, and staff was kind and attentive. However, several guests weren't observant of quiet hours. Also, one of the two cooling units in the room was so loud when it turned on. It sounded like a space ship was trying to land. Lastly, the lights outside in the parking lot were very bright, which is fine, but the blackout curtains don't close all the way, so we were stuck with a loud a/c unit, and bright lights, which didn't make for a super restful night. Everything else was great though. Breakfast was delicious, the amenities were good.

The best part of this property was the personnel. All were very helpful and kind, particularly the gentleman who was on duty the early mornning of Dec 14. My limo ride had been cancelled and I had to get to SFO airport. I don't know his name but he was wonderfully kind and effecient in getting me a taxi. I thought this was above and beyond what a desk clerk would do. He saved me from a great deal of stress. Kudos to him!

The staff was wonderful!! Thank you! 😊 Very nice location in Danville with easy access to the freeway. The property itself was dated and had the usual musty smell that many old motels have, but the price was very reasonable. The carpets were dirty, but everything else was clean. The free breakfast was a very nice, convenient start to our day as well. Thank you to the staff for the kind service.

It could use a face lift. Carpet and bathroom floors were filthy. My socks were nasty after walking for just a bit on the carpet. I wiped up water from the shower on the floor and the towel was incredibly dirty. Bed was comfortable. Staff was really friendly and accommodating. The facility itself needs improvements. It was convenient for our needs, so that was nice. A little TLC would up a long way. 😊

I stayed at the hotel for 3 days. On the second day, I hit my forehead on the edge of the glass shelf outside the bathroom and got a lump on my forehead, and now my forehead is sunken in. There was no warning written on it, and I placed my cosmetics case under the glass shelf. That's why I lowered my head and tried to take out the cosmetics. However, the glass shelf had no edge protection and no warning to be careful.

Woman working the desk was rude . Rooms weren’t ready on time . Property is older but rooms were clean. Very humid in room. There was a guy in the parking lot taking pictures of us in our vehicle as we were waiting for them to clean a room for us . This property is right off the freeway . So expect to hear cars

I immediately felt comfortable because of the cleanliness. There is no elevator, so if you have challenges or a lot of baggage, ask for a first floor room.
