When I stayed here, they had LOUD, construction going on all day. I did not know this was going to be taking place when I booked the hotel. I wasn't informed until I made it to the hotel. The pool was closed. They were painting the hotel exterior messily, paint ended up on multiple different cars in their lot to park. (including my rental car)

Good size rooms, everything is clean and nice. The breakfast was standard but good. Only issue is that 1 of the elevators was broken and the other one was super slow and old. You can definitely tell it needs renovation because it would shake whenever it stopped at a floor.

It would have been nice to know there was active construction going on when booking the stay. The walls were also super thin. We could hear everything from phone conversations next door to people going in and out of doors all night. The breakfast staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning runs very loud and hotel is right by highway which is very noisy. Did not sleep well due to noise. Only one elevator is working, one is still under construction. Elevator is old.

All of the people working here are lovely, but unfortunately there are a lot of things in poor repair. The wifi didn’t work 4 of my 5 nights; one elevator was entirely out of service and the other shuddered and stopped at every floor regardless of what was selected; the phone in my room didn’t work. Individually these are pretty minor issues, but together they gave me an impression of neglect and poor maintenance. The shower, bed, and breakfast were all perfectly fine though so I wasn’t uncomfortable, just bored and inconvenienced.

Go to the double tree
Place to lay your head that’s about it. Sheets were dirty and blood stain on shower curtain. Only thing good in breakfast was the cereal, the eggs were like rubber and sausage dryer then the Sahara desert. I would recommend staying somewhere else if possible.

Elevators out of order
The elevators were out of order! We were on the 4th floor. THIS was not convenient what so ever! No discount offered… the room was comfortable and clean but could hear road traffic from the highway loud and clear. It would have been nice to have had prior notice about the elevators so we could have made other plans if we needed to.

Hotel under construction. Our floor was done minus no vending or ice machines yet. No microwave in the room , but one downstairs. The rrom was great though. Extra space in the living room area is very good. People at front desk were very nice.

The bathroom is so small you have to step beside the toilet to shut the door. Also, all you hear is traffic all night long from LBJ. The mattress needs to be replaced. Long night and very little sleep.

The rooms are big and the beds are comfy. Everything is pretty clean but the only thing I didnt like much was that the fact that there was a mini fridge in the room but no microwave.

Bathroom was very tiny. It was hard to maneuver in the space. Light in bathroom was unreliable. Light switch for large lamp didn’t work. No maid service came for the 5 days we were there. The pool was not clean and was closed. There were no drawers in which to place clothes.
