Staff go beyond to be of assistance. Safe secure property. Great location to tour within Willemstad. Easy to get to Blue Bay, tour Hato Caves, historical museums. Good proximity to grocery stores. You do need a rental car on this island.

Felt at home right away
The place is quaint and extremely friendly, I felt at home imeadeatly. Accomodations are simple but fine, good matress, clean towels everyday and kittle extras like mosquito coils were much appreciated

the office lady hit my car and Slapped my wife for $10. it turned into a fight of course cause we do not accept this. Terrible communication. 10" old tv, AC does not work well, you cannot receive Guest ? WTH???? Never Ever again. terrible experiance!

Budget level accomodation at budget level price
The apartments are in the centre of the island, and while not far from bus routes, I would not recomend them without a car. The roads near the hotel and a little unkempt, and some guests may feel a bit nervous if they had to walk around the area at night. A warning from the management to bring your car and park inside adds to this feeling. The inside parking area was tight for space and I had to park with care as the last in on each night of my stay. The room was basic but adequate. The price was cheap which made this understandable. I was pleasantly surprised to have hot water in the shower. A kettle was provided, as well as microwave and fridge. A larger communal kitchen is also there. Wifi is good, a desk was provided, but the chair in the room was broken! It appeared to be ok but collapsed under my weight. Examination showed an old break as well the one from this collapse. I then used a plastic chair from outside. There is a tiny swimming pool, which I did not use, and a small TV in the room which I did not use after the first day The air con was adequate. It was colder when I arrived, but afterwards I could not get it to drop down to a low temperature again. I think the fault was with the controller and not the unit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Prices were exactly as quoted

Thank you very much for your comments, they are very valuable to us. The area although it is apparently a little quiet, is not dangerous and there is a bus service all the time and these leave you in front of our apartments. For the geography of Curacao, a car is always recommended (wherever you are) to be able to enjoy the island 100% and more taking into account that here the taxis are very expensive. The advice to take your car inside the apartments at dawn is just a basic safety recommendation anywhere. Unfortunately we have learned from your comment what happened with the chair and the control of the air conditioning, if you had informed us we would have replaced the chair immediately and we would have explained how the air conditioning control works. For us the service comes first! It was an honor to have you staying in our apartments, we hope to serve you on another occasion.

Ótimo custo benefício! O casal Marlon e Beatriz é super atencioso! O hotel é simples, porém limpo e confortável. O ponto negativo é a localização. Não tem absolutamente nada perto e o acesso não é muito simples.

I loved the nature feel of being between the trees and the bird sounds. The room was very clean. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I was provided with extra amenities for my baby. It's the perfect place to lay your head if you're going to be out most of the time.

gezellige plek om te verblijven
zeer gastvrij ontvangen door eigenaren , nemen ruimschoots de tijd om het een en ander uit te leggen incl over hoe en wat met het openbaar vervoer , zijn bereid je heen en terug naar supermarkt te brengen voor je eerste boodschappen . er is een grote keuken waar je je eigen maaltijd kan koken incl grote vriezer schoon zwembad waar je van 08:00 tot 22:00 lekker kan afkoelen . met een beetje geluk krijg je mits de bomen vruchten hebben een mango vers uit de boom . kortom een leuke veilige plek om te overnachten en het eiland te verkennen ,zowel met het openbaar vervoer als met een bij hun te huren auto .

Might not be the most luxurious place, but if you are looking for an affordable place to stay but still is clean safe and with a very attentive personel, well this is the place. Here you can feel relax for the comfort and safety.

Good value for the money
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, made the stay worth while. The hotel is utilitarian, about what I expected for the money. There was some issue with WiFi during my stay but by the time I mentioned it, they were waiting on the tech to come out to fix. The room was basic but clean. Bed was a little hard and the shower had a very think curtain that did not do much to keep the water in, so the bathroom floor would be soaked. Parking area is very tight. A/C takes a while to get going but room was very comfortable after about 20 min.

Very economical
It was a nice experience, very breezy, like an oasis in the middle of a desert, there was this smell though of oil fumes but not heavy.Very close to the mall, the airport, within half hour from the otrabunda and the beaches.

Visit Curacao.
Nice quite location. The owner‘s will work with you. They offer a rental car. A kitchen is available if you like to cook for yourself. Air-conditioning cost a little extra but it's rated according to your use, so it is inexpensive. Laundry is available at the Hotel. Hot showers. A very quite secure place to stay.

Great Little Hotel off the Beaten Path
Great Hotel, my stay started off with wrong directions from the rental car clerk. Got lost(map from rental company was a joke), so I stopped at roadside Drink vendor. They were not good at directions, so they called Hotel and the owner came right over and I followed him to the Hotel(missed it by two round-a-bouts). The owner was GREAT in every way he made sure I found where I was going each day, and went out of his way to help me with anything I needed. The Hotel was small but Great in every other way. CLEAN, WELL KEPT, SECURE, GREAT WiFi, and EASY TO GET TO. The hotel information stated $7 @day electric fee, but the Owner does a meter reading checking-in and out and charges just what you use. I saved $15 during my stay doing it this way. I'm already planning a return trip to Curacao, with a stay at Apartamentos Cecil Paradise.

Pleasant Atmosphere
I arrived after 9.00 pm. After settling in I was offered to be taken to a mini mart to buy some fruit after I expressed a desire for same. I was taken to the mini mart which was about ten minutes drive away at no extra cost. I found this to be a very nice gesture and was very much appreciated as it made my one night stay at Apartamentos Cecil Paradise all the more agreeable.

Bra boende, sämre läge
Hotellet är mysigt med rummen i enplansbyggnader i L- form med en öppen yta framför. Rent, bra sängar. Omgärdat av mur vilket känns säkert. Gemensam liten pool och tillagningskök finns. Möjlighet spara pengar på elräkningen (som tillkommer). Fantastisk service av ägaren, han skjutsade oss för att hämta mat och handla, hjälpsam med hur åka kollektivt etc. Bil är helt klart att rekommendera för att kunna utforska ön. Boka hemifrån, kan vara svårt att få tag i på plats. Finns lokaltrafik (towncars- minivans) men inga tidtabeller så de är inte säkraste sättet att ta sig på, väntade 40 minuter en kväll när vi skulle hem från stan innan det kom en och ytterligare 10 innan vi fick plats i en. Finns möjlighet att ta sig till de större stränderna med buss men bil ger helt andra möjligheter. Riktigt bra och prisvärt boende om man inte är så brydd om läget.

la atencion de la propietaria buena, la oferta es engañosa, la habitacion ni siquiera tiene ventana y que la ubicación es pésima , el barrio en el que se encuentra es peligroso mal comunicado y sin ningún tipo de servicio ni tiendas para servicios mínimos, de hecho de las tres noches que tenia reservadas solo utilice una, pague y me mude, aparte de eso te cobran la energia electrica aparte.

Señor Enrique la informacion descrita en estos sites no es engañosa!!! todo esta muy bien especificado y aclarado en la descripcion de los apartamentos y tambien en la reserva que a usted se le envio por medio de Hoteles.com/Expedia.com. La zona no es para nada peligrosa, no dicho solo por nosotros sino por muchos huespedes de muchisimos paises. Personas que van y regresan muchisimas veces a hospedarsen con nosotros. Recuerde porque nos eligio!!! muy seguramente precio muy economico, si deseaba un 5 estrellas hay muchisimas opciones mas a elegir por el triple del precio que usted pago aca. Muchas gracias por sus palabras pero no creo que por el servicio y atencion ofrecido nos merezcamos la calificacion que usted nos dio.

Very small hotel in dangerous area
The location of the hotel was very hard to find. Once found the staff were as accommodating as possible however the television was extremely small, I was discouraged from even looking at it. In the bathroom there was no soap, so therefore after my long trip to get there all i could do was rinse off that night, and again only rinse off before another day of even longer flying, since i was laying over for just one night. I have been to many hotels and this one rates at the bottom.

El lugar no es en la zona turística y hermosa de la isla, las camas no son las más cómodas, pero la atención que tuve fue muy personal y hermosa. Se preocuparon por mi (estaba regresando a mi país bajo una emergencia, además el aire acondicionado y todos los servicios de la habitación funcionan perfecto y su limpieza es igual de buena.

Great bed and cushions.
The WiFi was amazing and I really liked the bed, unfortunately I only stayed one day and I didn't het the chance to visit a pool or do much else then sleep.

We picked Cecil apartments because of the value and good reviews.We wanted some place central on the island that was clean and safe.We were very happy there!!

No sleep
It's not too far to the airport and not too far from the city. The problem is the actual neighbor hood, which is an industrial area, with paved roads that are dimpled more than a golf ball. Granted you get through that without a flat tire, finding the place isn't easy, as it's not labeled in anyway, just a small "house number". If you're doing this at night, good luck, it blends in with surrounding buildings. Getting in; not too difficult. There is a gate that you have to open, and then once you're in the front yard, you must ring a bell and wait for someone to assist you. Hope it does not rain. You are then given an access card and a key; the access card is to open a second, locked, gate. The key (which is 1800's style, I believe called a skeleton key), will open your door. Getting in with a car; annoying. Once you've been given a key and would like to park your car, the only place to do so is inside the complex. To do this, you walk in the first gate, then use your access card to open the second gate. You then proceed to the vehicle gate, where you pull out some pins and push the 2 steel doors open. Get in your car, pull in, get out, close the gate. Now you're in an alley. The midsize Kia I had allowed for about 4 inches of clearance on either side in some spots, which is tolerable, but not ideal. Parking is easy, but getting out will required a 7 point turn or reversing through the narrow alley and then working the gate again. Review continues in other section...

Es un buen lugar para llegar sin embargo deberían cobrar incluido en el precio el uso de cocina y aire acondicionado. Sus instalaciones acordes al precio muy limpias y bien conservadas. Buena atención de su personal.

Excelente estadia
Excelente vacaciones, el hotel muy bien ubicado, muy buena limpieza, la cocina compartida muy cómoda y amplia, tiene todo para pasar unos días super agradables, lo mejor la atención de los dueños del hotel, quienes al llegar te orientan en como movilizarte en la isla y hasta te llevan al supermercado si necesitan compra algunas cosas, también el día que te retiras te ubican una bus para que te lleve al aeropuerto por un bajo costo. Sin duda lo recomiendo 100% y porsupuesto me hospedaría en este hotel en mi próxima visita a curacao.

Curacao trip
The hotel/room was very clean. The service was excellent, everyone was very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help find anything I needed on short notice. It served the purpose of being able to sit outside most of the day. Hot shower and ability to cook own food when I wanted to. I rented a car and knew my way around which was great. The hotel is close to everything on the island.

Great first impression of Curacao!
I think this is the most authentic positive Curacao living experience one can have without already knowing a local personally. It reminded me of visiting my Grandparents' homes back in India. Not exactly a resort but undeniably homey - the very definition of paradise.

Excelente hotel y los dueños son muy amables y colaboradores ..todo queda cerca.. los servicios del hotel excelente si vuelvo a ir a curacao me vuelvo a quedar con toda seguridad m gusto mucho se los recomiendo ....

very sweet family run hotel
I only wish the location were more central. However, if you have a car, this would not have been a problem. Great price for such a sweet place with great service.

Buena atencion, los dueños muy atentos, te dan una guiatura turistica y hasta un mapa para que no te pierdas los lugares mas interesantes de la isla y en caso de requerir salir a comprar algo de comida ellos mismos te llevan.
