I'm from the area and just returned after 20 years and the place is the same. Owners are very friendly and its an affordable stay if money is your highest consideration only.

Updated bathroom with new tub/shower, toilet & sink. New flooring through out. Microwave & refrigerator. Cable. Very clean. Friendly check in. Sports bar within walking distance for food & drink. I've stayed at other places for this price, and wasn't pleased. Very pleased with the price for a clean room & place to sleep. It's not a resort, not high-end hotel or high-end price. Highly recommend if all you need is place to sleep.

Room is sparsly furnished and in need of repair. Window Covers are not room darkening and I was woken up several times by headlights lighting up the entire room. The only thing good was the price. Would not recommend.

Extremely strong smelling electric air "freshener" Unplugged it and took a couple hours of the door open to get rid of stink/fragrance. Reception was quick.

Unexpectedly good for a property that's rather unassuming looking on the outside. The room was clean (including the bathroom); had a fairly good air conditioner and refrigerator plus MW oven. Beds were comfortable. A good deal.

This is a fine, old world motel that’s been well-rejuvenated. Most importantly, it’s quiet ( not downtown) and very clean. The accoutrements inside the room are pretty minimal — tv, fridge, ac and microwave— but my bed was very comfortable, no rickety furniture, no smells, floors are spotless and bathrooms is modern. This is a great bargain!

Basic but clean and comfy

A basic roadside motel, but the room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was super comfortable. I got a great night's sleep and that's what counts.

I was unpleasantly surprised when we went to our rooms. They were not what I expected. It seems the Motel is in a state of transition. I believe owners are trying to update the rooms by themselves, and it shows. I'm glad my son was next door, as I would not have stayed here by myself. We seriously considered leaving but there were no other vacancies in the area. A very nice clean restaurant next door named Ginny's is where we ate. Given time I think this might be a nice place to stay, however it isn't at the moment.

Price was reasonable which was good . Property is in need of a desperate facelift, rooms need painting, plumbing is slow or backs up, front door had a huge gap where the bugs came into the room.

This is an OK, inexpensive place to catch some zzz's while you explore Newburgh, Storm King Art Center, the nice dining in the area, etc. It's not the Ritz and it doesn't pretend to be. No iron, coffee maker, or hair dryer. Wifi and cable TV are reliable. The wall unit heated the room nicely.

This place was so disgusting that we drove into the parking lot looked around and left. Abandoned Cadillac as soon as you drive in, old dirty windows and “seedy” people around. There was no way I would stay at a place like this. It resembled a hot sheet short stay motel.

Over priced

The motel was very run down. It said no smoking but smelled horrible of smoke. The door was thin and did not have real dead bolt. The beds were hard and pillows thin. I would not recommend and I would never stay there again. Over priced!

Great attention to detail

Great to see the owners making something good of a classic roadside motel. I admired the way the room was meticulously clean with great attention to detail. Not fancy but Zen.

Inside was clean. Property's overall appearance was run-down. Lights shining into the room were bright until 11 PM. And the door's lock and overall condition had seen better days.
