I am so lucky to be here again for this year, as the Covid-19 is still spreading on the world. Thank you so much to all the staff and especially the GEM (Mr.An) who really took a great care my trip. The food was so amazing and this time, Six senses made us so surprised with more extra services. I make sure that I will come back for next year.

This resort is totally a paradise on earth. Everything is perfect and I don't wanna leave at all the moment I stepped in. Still, I hope they can improve their menu since to me, the menu doesn't have any choice for me to choose. And since this is a no-smoking resort but I still saw some guests smoked, I hope the staff could pay attention to this problem in the future.

Indeed, as we are in protected national park,we do not allow smoking in many areas, including bedrooms and guest areas, however to be fair to those guests who do smoke, we have very controlled private smoking areas around the resort for them. We have a range of menus,which change daily or custom made, based on your dietary needs. Bliss in Paradise
Con Dao is a stunning island and the Six Senses is built to showcase this beauty! The views from all over the property are stunning. We were welcomed at the airport with a smile and enjoyed cold water on the short, but beautiful drive to the property. Upon arrival, our GEM (Guest Experience Manager, Kimmy, the GM, Eric and FOH were all their to welcome us. It was a great start! The property is charming! I love the addition of bikes to use to get around. Our ocean view duplex pool villa was wonderful! The bedroom had great AC and stunning views. The bathroom downstairs, sadly did not have AC nor a fan so it seemed like a wasted space as it could get quite stuffy in there. BUT the outside shower was fab. Our little pool was magical for night swims taking in the stars and reflecting on day in our little paradise. Food is top notch and we were delighted with every meal the chef prepared for us. It was a great stay and we thank the enjoy team for helping us celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Thank you Con Dao and Six Senses Team! We hope to be back one day...should the bathroom get cooler, lol.

Stunning/Relaxing/Everything we could’ve asked for
Con Dao Six Senses was out of this world luxury, relaxation, and beauty. Our GEM (Hayley) and the whole staff took care of us the moment we landed to the moment we took off from the island. I’m afraid of leaving too positive a review because part of me wants to keep it all to ourselves, but if you have the opportunity to stay at this hotel, take it and you won’t ever look back.

Luxury, warmth and charm, set on magical beach
It actually exceeded expectations (which were pretty high). Like other the other Six Senses location we stayed at, Con Dao struck the perfect balance of absolute luxury and warmth and charm. The service is unparalleled - warm, smart, professional. The beach was the best we’ve experienced - perfect sand, reasonably tame ocean (active but not dangerous). The town was fun, not spoiled with junky tourist tchotchkes and people trying to swindle you. ...and of course the people and the food are fantastic (that goes without saying, but thought I’d say it just in case). I’d be back every year if it wasn’t 1.5 days travel away and sooooo expensive (that’s saying a lot, because we tend to try new places). Loved it!!

The location of the resort offered the most breathtaking view of the ocean and the bay. Be sure to get up early to photograph or to enjoy the peaceful sunrise. Six Senses Con Dao's external appearance does not look like a 5-star resort without anything majestic to impress us when we first arrived. However, the living quarters are very expansive and wide open yet they give us all the privacy we wanted. Our villa consists of 3 detached buildings and has a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool. The staff provided an impeccable service with special attention to our basic needs. Our GEM (guest experience maker) constantly communicated with us to make sure we won't any special event of the day. We had the rare opportunity to watch the release of 2 to 3-day-old baby tortoises into the sea following their hatching. The foods are delicious although a little pricey but the complimentary breakfasts are top notched. This eco-resort recycles a lot of wastes and grows its own vegetables used for preparing our meals. We wish there were more lightning in the rooms to better see things at night but think that would defeat the purpose of giving the resort its quietness and natural look. Hope you would enjoy your stay here as much as we did.

What a magnificent property and staff. Very friendly and helpful. The Vila was spectacular as was the private beach. The hotel offers daily activities also. No happy hour though. I’ve suggested to the GM.

Heaven on earth
This place was amazing, The beaches are pristine, service impeccable, food devine and the rooms are just incredible. It is a resort and the prices reflect that, but worth every penny. Every villa has its own pool and a person they call a GEM, you merely pick up the phone and they are there to help with anything. We rode scooters ($15 for 4 hours) got messages, read books by our pool and never wanted to leave. This is not an inexpensive place, but worth every penny.

Six Senses was a perfect place to have a relaxing few days away from it all ! The resort has wonderfully friendly and efficient service. The facilities (pool, fitness center) and activity offerings were plentiful and well run. We loved having a personal "Guest Enjoyment Manager" aka GEM, that checked with us everyday and made sure we had all we needed and that we were comfortable. She arranged our snorkeling tour and our visit to town. She was available with a simple phone call. Need ice? Call your GEM. This service is literally a gem! Loved it. There are 2 restaurants, or you can eat in your villa. Free ice cream everyday. What a nice perk after a hot afternoon at the pool or on the beach. Lovely atmosphere and Lovely people. We hope to return while we are still living in Asia.

Most amazing beach destination
- Beach is stunning with the sea so warm it felt like walking into a bath. - Villas were amazing and had all the amenities required. Room service is very efficient. - GEM general experience manager, was so lovely and thoughtful and helped organise all our activities and any questions we had. - All staff are so friendly. Thank-you to the bar staff and the activities team for making our time so memorable. - The spa staff really cared and recommended bespoke treatments to suit what we needed. - A stunning resort where it is clear that they care about the environment and giving back to the local community.

Desire to please but many failures. Food sickness
Absolutely gorgeous location with long isolated beach and the water is super warm. You are isolate and limited to resort food which is pretty limited, super expensive, not very good and got pretty sick on the third day (bad chicken I suspect). We were assigned 1 person to help us during our stay (kevin) and he was super useful but didn't get the same from the rest of the vietnamese staff. They have a desire to help but english is often limited and had to repeat, repeat, repeat our order and had to return something pretty much every meal. Also had issues with checkout with items on our bills that wasn't suppose to be there and paid for private ride to airport but Kevin had to drive us due to mistake from the staff. It's small island so food will be a bit more expense. Expect to spend at lest 200$ per day for 2 minimum for half decent food. The breakfast on the other end was very good.

A few days at the beach
Perfect place if you're looking for a few days by the beach. It's relatively secluded so lots of space for yourself. Six Senses is comfortable and service was exceptional. Outside of the resort area there are a few temples and shrines to visit, and nice coastlines but not many choices apart from that.

I stayed for 3 nights on a self organised 2 week tour of Vietnam and Cambodia. The only problem I had with my stay is that it wasn't long enough. The setting and hotel itself is stunning however it's sthe staff that truley make it a memorable experience.

Wonderful secluded spot. Natural yet pampered.
Arriving here by propeller plane from Ho Chi Minh city, so there is a bit of effort to come to this "out of the way" place. All the transfers were smooth though and on arrival, we could see why it was all worth it. We arrived at around 7 a.m. which was too early for our room, but we had a tour of their breakfast buffet and spent a couple of hours there -- wonderful view of the beach/ocean, pho bar, etc. After breakfast, we were brought to our room -- Oceanfront duplex. What a nice spot -- roomy, private, indoors/outdoors. We spent the rest of day one exploring around, walking the beach, hanging by the main pool (watch the sandflies though! use the bugspray!), swimming in the ocean. In the late afternoon, we went into Con Dao town, ate some street food and explored their markets. Back to the hotel for a nice dinner and early night. Day 2, it was pouring rain. So we weren't able to scuba dive or do anything much outdoors. I used the gym which was fine. We pretty much spent the day in the villa -- ocean breeze and ceiling fan, lazing around listening to music and reading. You need one of those days some times. Day 3 -- With improved weather, we tried paddleboarding, kayaking/snorkelling (so-so visibility). In the afternoon, we tried the couples massage. Lovely facility - an oasis! They had a "meet the staff" drinks and BBQ. The service has a very personal touch. Staff greet you with a smile and "Xin Chao!" ringing out.

Private Paradise
A secluded resort ideal for both families or couples. The rooms are private and accommodating. We had the beach almost entirely to ourselves. The service was always attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet is simply wonderful - we made it a point to luxuriate over it during our stay. Dining there for lunch or dinner is very much overpriced - better to take a taxi into town or use one of the free bicycles on offer (about a 30 to 45 minute ride).

The experience I had was very relaxing and satisfied. My tips are: (1) having the fluffy pancake & free icecream during happy hour, (2) taking a small trip to watch coral by kayak, (3) discover the astronomy by booking 12-24hours ahead. I'm definately comming back here soon.

Fantastic stay, hindered by a few small flaws
The resort is set on a beautiful beach in a private cove, surrounded by green, jungle-clad hills. The villas are also very nice, with a modern yet rustic feel. They felt very private, and it was easy to forget that there were others staying at the resort until we left for meals or drinks. The included breakfast was also excellent. Unfortunately, despite these excellent features, we felt a little let down by the service standard at the property. While all the staff were very friendly, and seemed to want to be helpful, it felt like many were inexperienced and nervous, and lots of small errors occurred. It also seemed to be service by committee on most occasions, with no one person seeming to be responsible for the table, and we might suggest that a more one-on-one approach would work better. The food and drink costs on the resort were very high, particularly relative to elsewhere in the country, and it did feel a like the resort was taking advantage of the captive market. This would likely have been less irritating had we not encountered the service issues described above. Overall, notwithstanding the few downside points, we did feel the resort was a great stay, and the island of Con Dao is definitely worth a visit for those prepared to assume the cost.

Perfect island getaway
Con Dao is a quiet island; and we arrived during the low season. We stayed at an Ocean Front Deluxe Pool Villa; it's more pricey than the Ocean View villas, but when you get to lie on the sun lounges and see the ocean right in front of you with nothing blocking your view, you realise it is worth every penny of it. As for the villa itself, I would call it a simple kind of beauty, with almost everything made out of wood. Having the bathroom downstairs can be quite troublesome at times, especially at night. This is partly due to the fact that lighting is minimal at this resort, and walking up and down the stairs in your villa can be sort of a challenge. An outdoor rain shower also sounded very exotic and romantic at first – but a problem I encountered during my stay was the wind. It can be quite windy on Con Dao Island, especially at night. Perhaps this gives you a reason to use the indoor bathtub for a long bubbly bath instead. Food at the resort was of extremely high quality. The waiters were fantastic as well. What really made Six Senses Con Dao stand out was the people – staff members greeted you whatever time of the day with a smile on their face. The Six Senses Spa was also terrific. The head massage during the body wrap cured me of my headache on the first day. Overall, staying at Six Senses Con Dao has been an amazing experience. I have absolutely no hesitation when recommending this place to friends and others.

Nice but doesn't quite catch it
Don't get me wrong, this is a fantastic place, however when you consider you spend about $10k for 6 nights including fairly basic food you really expect everything to be flawless, however, that's not the case. The food is good, but when you consider that you in saigon eat better for a tenth (!!) of the cost then you start to wonder. The fish wasn't great, always overcooked even though they do offer a new one to you but then it's a bit too late. The seafood tasted quite muddy indicating it's farmed, and probably as they say organically, but if it's not top of the line in taste, then don't bother. Our "butler" was great, and really did consider our requests to have a lot of privacy. One thing we did appreciate though was the fact that the Food and Beverage manager and his girlfriend both are good sommeliers, giving really good wines. however expect to pay 8-10 times more than you would for the same wine any where else in the world. They sold basic Jacobs Creek wine for a lot of dosh that's normally one of the cheapest wines you can get. All in all, it's a great location, but you better rush to get there since I bet in 2-3 years it will be run down, and the whole island very overcrowded.

Six Sense Con Dao--Perfection
Enjoyed my 40th bday celebration here with my girlfriend and I must say, we couldn't have picked a better spot. The villa was amazing, food was to die for, and service was truly 5 star. I'd highly recommend indulging in either or both the in-villa BBQ or the chef's table dinner in the cellar. Both were truly amazing experiences.

Con Dao Six Senses is definitely a superb experience. A place where honeymooners and other couples enjoying privacy definitely will enjoy but less ideal for a single traveller who will miss entertainment.

レストランの食事の質が高い。ビーチよく整備、清掃されていた。とても静かで落ち着いた環境が維持されていた。一方、メゾネットであったが、一階と２階の移動が外階段になっている点は不便。また、滞在中に突然非常ベルが鳴ったが、ホテル側からは適時なアクションがなく、我々が電話をしなければならず、しかも部屋に担当者が来るのにかなり時間がかかった点は大いに不満であった。
