Dirtiness is not the right word to describe the room. It's so much more than just dirt... Inches of compacted dirt at the floor edges, stripping doors, sheets with dried blood, grey towels that were once white walls with dirty stains, broken furniture with huge dirty stains, provide just a small description of the room... It was the first night when we were so glad that we had our towels to cover the bed and were afraid to undressed before going to sleep. After driving about 1000 miles that day we were so tired to change the hotel... It was too late. We did not expect this from expedia...

Literal live cockroach upon entering the bathroom AND the guy gave us the wrong room number BUT THE CARD STILL WORKED and we walked in on someone sleeping and I'm pretty sure all the cards work on all the rooms. Would NOT recommend. Better to sleep in a car.

Non smoking room reeked of tobacco smoke and the ac unit did not work. My wife didn’t give this place a second chance so we left and went to the hotel next door. Owner did not offer refund

Thank you for review first of all you supposed to call third party to ask about refund not to call direct property to ask refund your money because lavista inn didn’t charge from you card but third party charged from your card.I checked A/c unit working perfectly fine.

It was cheaper and it advertised as having a kitchen. It did not. I pre paid for a week and was olny shocked the following morning to find a sign that advertised half of what i paid for a weekly rate. Im ok with that..... not ok with traffic in and out people and a smell i can't get off my shoes

Checked in from out of town to go to a Game so I wasnt in the room until later that night and when I got back I seen a roach in the bathroom, I tried to let it go. But I fell asleep due to driving and when I woke up randomly I seen another one crawl behind the refrigerator. I also tried to let that situation go but the last straw was when I seen a spider in the shower. I should’ve left immediately when I first seen something, I took pictures of it all and tried to inform him about it but he was resilient to the information about the bugs

The unit was in poor condition, had to use a chair to stand on to get the heater to function, took a shower and it took an hour for the tub to drain, tub area leaked water onto the floor and under the wall to the dressing area, refrigerator door was bent and wouldn't close all the way. several power cords were laying around one for the fridg. and something in the dressing area that was attached to the wall but now is laying on the floor. Overall the unit was in very bad shape even the entry door was cracked at the latch like it had been forced open. Will not use again!

The tv didn’t work, the WiFi didn’t work, there were roaches in the bathroom, we had to slam our bodies into the room door to open it, and slam it to close it. The front desk clerk was unfriendly, to say the least. There were blood stains (im pretty sure it was blood) on the mattress. I wouldn’t recommend this motel to my worst enemy.

should be a lot cheaper for the rooms
roach guts / droppings on walls. walls were extremely filthy. i was afraid to walk on the carpets, my feet were black after having done so. i was asleep when i had 2 guests from the hotel walk into my room, i guess the front desk attendant checked them into the wrong room? Took about 10 minutes in the morning to get hot water for a shower going, so i forced myself to take a cold one as i had to get ready for work. will not stay here again.

It works.
If you need a bed. Don’t wear white socks and walk on the rug. Cigarette holes in your sheets. Marginally clean towels. Missing mattress pad on the other bed. Greasy dirt on top of the full size fridge. Thread worn pillow case. Despite all this it was quiet during our visit. With many of these motels in a row, you do have choices. Management was compliant with our request for cleaner towels and better linens and replaced them, but not what you want to have happen when you pull in at 8:30 pm.

horrible
water on the floor in the bathroom. Smelled strongly of disinfectant. air conditioner not cooling room. Complained and they moved us to another room that smelled just as bad, was hot, and had a woman next door screaming and swearing on her phone. Left and went somewhere else and got a decent room. I will not book another room that does not have a cancellation clause.

Cheap but Dirty and run down
Smelled like dirt and cigarette even though it said non-smoking. Floors and curtains were filthy. Sheets were dirty and looked unchanged. Mold in the bathroom. Mattress was comfortable. Young front desk girl was friendly and helpful. Quiet despite being near the train. Bed mismatched for frame. Other furniture in the room was disgusting-wouldn't put out stuff in there. Will never stay there again and wouldn't recommend the place either by at least the mattress was comfy. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

Functional Accommodations - Low Price.
I just needed a place to sleep and this fit the bill. The rooms are in need of upgrading but the bedroom area was reasonable clean. The bathrooms on the other hand need a upgrade or a power washing. the Toilet, Sink and Shower were clean enough to use - but the floors and wall had a sheen of grim and fly guts that was distracting. The staff was very friendly - but the room phone did not work - so I could not call the office to get the wifi password. It was not the best experience - it was not the worst experience - it was the experience that was consistent with the price I paid for the room.

Not your vacation spot
This was a vintage motel and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. I was traveling in the middle of the night and needed a place to stay. I got a great rate and the bed was clean and comfortable. I did find the windows were unlocked and I promptly locked them. I'm sure they were unlocked for someone doing the cleaning. The floor was clean and the cute vintage pink tub, tile, and toilet were definitely the original equipment installed in the 40's or 50's. The door was a little hard to get open because the handle was a little loose. it locked securely and I felt safe and sound. This place is clearly located in the old business district of town that ran parallel to the railroad tracks (hence the slight oder of the cattle feedlot outdoors.) It was clean and safe and I got a $40 rate on Hotels.com.

For the price, was more than I expected. Staff is very friendly. Good location. Large rooms with full refrigerator, counterspace, etc. Wifi was better than many more expensive hotels. It's not the Hilton, but there you go.

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL, WHATEVER YOU DO!
Upon arrival at check in time, the hotel did not have the room paid for available. We were given a room with 2 beds instead. Being on the road several hours the first thing I wanted to do was use the restroom. On the back of the door there was blood spatter that had also been smeared when it was fresh. Thought they might clean something like that before upgrading a guest into it. Then the toilet did not work. We had to use the ice bucket to fill the tank in order to try using it. It sort of flushed once but then we just had to keep the lid down the rest of our stay. It didn't seem like anything had been cleaned or sanitized. The blankets all has burns and stains, I really hope the sheets were clean because I had to sleep somewhere. The only comfortable part of the room was that the A/C worked.

One word...... Dirty
The Lobby in the screenshot was the only thing clean.The room was so dirty. When I turned on the heating/ac unit dust blew out the vents. I removed the filtered screen myself and washed it. I then proceeded to use my swiss broom from my car to clean the vents, leaving the dust pile on the floor for them to clean. The tub was disgusting I couldn't bring myself to even shower in it. Towels were dirty,toilet the same just stood and squatted. Not worth the reduced rate.

Put it into context
This was a small motel I stayed in for work travel. Nothing was brand new yet clean. It was a low price place that is well lit and served my need. There were no chocolates on the pillows nor did I expect any.

Only if there's no other option.
The room was pretty bad. First, you walk in the room and get hit by the musty smell. The sink did not just drip, it ran hot water, which you couldn't turn it off. The carpet (if you can call it that) had to be 30 years old. There wasn't a coffee pot in the room. The air/heater (another relic) was taped together, and was either hot or cold, no real way to adjust it - the good news: it was so loud you couldn't hear the leaking faucet. The bed, however, was comfortable. So if you're just in town for the night, and need an inexpensive place to stay, it will do in a pinch.

Horrible
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Nothing but Flys every where. The smell was terrible. The bed was broken . And the price for such bad quality was ridiculous. Worst experience ever. Never again!!!!

Scary neighborhood, scary room
Cheap price, still not worth it. The worst hotel ever. Dirty room, dirty towels, fly s, stains. If you do stay, make sure you have slippers to protect your feet from ???? in the carpet. homeless people wander the parking lot all night. Good Luck

Breaking Bad Getaway
If half naked women on couches calling for company through open doors and women of a not so high moral standard propositioning you from across the way is your idea of paradise, this is your place. Also you will need to be fond of swarming flies, no air conditioning, and possible urine on the floor. Other than that, I lived for another day.

Dust and Cobwebs
It was very dirty. There was dust and cobwebs in all corners and on furniture. Bed linens had cigaretted burns in our non-smoking room...CIGARETTE BURNS!!! There were two pillows thrown in the parking lot just blowing around with the wind, nobody bothered to pick them up...lol On the plus side, we got what we paid for. It was 45.00 for two people/one night. So what should we have expected right??? What I learned.....read reviews before booking in a city you've never been to before.
