The area was convenient to a lot of stores we like. Room is clean, beds comfy Rooms facing the road can be a bit loud but didn’t really bother us with the TV on. The washroom was seemed like it was falling apart, broken tiles, broken toilet bowl covers but didn’t affect anything. Our room ran out of hot water so I had to shower with cool cold water The elevator had a smell and a slight trip hazard due to the slight floor elevation. The pool was great when it was open. It closed down 2 days that we were there. We were told by the front desk it would be fixed the following day so we decided to book another stay. But sadly it was still not opened. Parking can be an issue during the evenings and busy weekends. My BIGGEST ISSUE : On check out day, the house keeper knocked on our door at 0830-0840 in the Morning!! Not sure why but it woke us up. Was it to signal us to start packing up to leave? Overall for us the price, cleanliness and location was key to us booking here

The property served it's purpose. I needed a place for me and my family to stay while in the area. Super close to shopping and malls. Close to resturants. The hotel is close to the freeway. The hotel rooms need to be updated period. The bathroom was basic. No drawer space at all other than night stand drawer. Breakfast was good. Make sure your stay includes breakfast at Bar Louie. The only saving grace i the breakfast. These room should be no more than 89. to 100 bucks a night. I give the hotel a 3 Star.

Waking up Sunday morning and no hot water. No notice to guests, and no apologies. Just a statement by an unfriendly desk clerk that it was a building wide problem and they are working on it.

I was there on business only to check in and a few hours later go to shower and BAM!!!!! NO HOT WATER!!!! Call front desk and he says tome Oh Yea we’re having issues with the HOT WATER and that was that !!!!! Business trip and couldn’t shower I’ll never stay here again and the only thing they could say was SORRY

The bathrooms are pretty tight and the toilet didn’t flush very well. Glad there was a Bar Louie in the lobby. Made for some evening entertainment.

This is always my go-to hotel when in Chicago and it is clean and comfortable. However, I did ask for at least one day (out of my 5-days) to have a full service for housekeeping (sheets changed, room cleaned, everything restocked) but that never happened. The elevators do need some renovation, my friends and I got stuck for about a minute or so. The panel wasn’t quite connected in that elevator. Otherwise everyone was very nice and property is decent because it is right in the Oak Brook shopping area so lots of options and there is always something going on in the bar.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Chicago-Oakbrook, an IHG Hotel, and was disappointed with the condition of the property. The building shows its age and, unfortunately, it isn’t well-maintained. My room’s cleanliness was below expectations, evident by the stains I found on the sheets. This lack of attention to detail made for an uncomfortable stay. The hotel needs significant updates and a rigorous cleaning regimen to meet the standard one would expect from an IHG Hotel.

The property was an average hotel as far as cleanliness and other areas that 1 with expect in a hotel. But things like facilities not being available with no prior notice. The hot water you had to let run for an extended. of time for it to work. Shower heads weren't that great and other things of that nature kind of make me give this property a below average review.

When I went to check in the hotel would not allow me to and told me I had to contact Expedia. Because the hotel had a water pipe burst from the cold weather. After about a 2 hour inconvenience I was allowed to check in the hotel.

This Holiday Inn was dirty to say the least. It was very noisy and the elevator has blood on the floor from someone. Condition of the room was just OK. The tub had chipped paint in it. And the doors to the rooms had chipped paint as well. I will not be visiting that location anymore. On a more positive note, Bar Louie was great. Food & drinks was delicious.

Did not like the noise level inside the hotel. People banging in and out all night. The door to the room stuck so once you scanned your keycard you had to shoulder your way into the room. We were not told that the breakfast was not complimentary and would have added it to the room had we known. Just not a very restful stay. The staff were professional.

The pool water was not as clear as it should be. Some repair work was done sloppily. The area has a nice selection of restaurants. The one in the hotel was a upper class bar with better bar food. Breakfast was good.
