We stayed in room 101 it was lovely and clean the staff were lovely very friendly and helpfull scrambled eggs were ansum bacon bit dried out but enuf food there i will deffo be coming back

Decent hotel but noise is an issue
Hotel was in good condition and staff were ok. Noise was the main issue, Walls in hotel room very thin and can hear tv from next room, can hear everything as people walk by the room.

Air-con and TV let's this hotel down
Plus points are modern hotel in a great location to the station and Nantwich rd pubs and restaurants etc. The breakfast is good value and enough to get you ready for the day. The service at reception was good especially as I had a few issues with my booking. My stay was let down by a room where the air-con doesn't work and you have to rely on a desk fan. The TV has limited Freeview channels which I put down to a poor aerial set up within the hotel. A fridge would be good so that you can keep your own drinks cold as well. The price felt a little high, which is probably because of the lack of competition in the area. A premier inn is near by but is of a lesser standard overall.

Staff is not helpful to solve technical problems, such as operate the air conditioner and the door lock. Perhaps, they aren't trained at these aspects.

disappointing
When we arrived at the Hotel the receptionist could not care whether she served us or not. The Hotel had run off my payment before I arrived, I thought it was payment at the Hotel. They were very reluctant to serve us with some food we arrived about 7pm due to traffic the breakfast was very disappointing. would we recommend express hotels no not on this visit. we would not use them again

Good location and comfortable
A good location and some good service. Room was big and comfortable but shower was a little disappointing (water pressure may need a look at) and general cleanliness of wider hotel (esp outside) could be looked at. But good for a short stay.

Fine for a short stay-convenient to Train Station
Our room was fine and the included breakfast was very good. The entrance to the property has steps and it was not clear if it was handicap accessible. Once we reached the lobby there was an elevator to get to our room. This seemed to be in a more commercial area, with a bus and trucks in the parking lot. The parking area was not well lit and very dark at night.

Don’t go here.
Hotels .com charged me £25 for parking - but the actual hotel cost was £4. The room smelt bad the bathroom floor was rotten and stank - tiles lifting from being soaking wet. Room was small and felt very old. No toilet seat. The whole place was grubby and worn.

Good 2 night stay
Really nice room with a balcony, very clean with air conditioning. Breakfast is great with good selection, only negative was the breakfast area had 'sticky' floor and tables and some of the cutlery was still a bit dirty.

2 night stay
A good stay, room was a good size and bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful as always. The only negative I have about this particular stay was that the room was exceptionally warm, with no a/c and no opening window. A fan was provided but it made sleeping a little difficult. I’ve stayed here several times and never had this issue before, so wonder if it’s a peculiarity of that one room. Otherwise, a good stay.
