Golf trip stay over.
Nice and quiet location with lovely countryside views (sea in the distance). Breakfast is basically some cereal left outside your door. Shower is a mixer tap in the bath. Little headroom fir anyone talker than 5ft. Generally a bit tatty around the edges. Dirty porch and messy garden. Car parking awkward. Owners dogs do bark at times.

Requires improvement
Nice area and close by to popular site seeing areas. However, there was no heating at all throughout the property so it was extremely cold, especially during the night. Could improve on the cleaning, no service of rooms during the day to replenish anything used. Only breakfast available is cereal outside the rooms but no dining area to eat it. Could not see any smoke alarms upstairs or in the room which is worrying.

Very pleasant stay at East House
Very pleasant stay at East House this weekend. Needed a base locally for a wedding in Ellingham and East House was ideal. Very comfortable stay with off-street parking. Would happily recommend and stay again.

Very friendly b&b, quiet comfortable room, very flexible breakfast set up (cereal and milk in a fridge provided that you can help yourself to at any time). Very well placed for exploring northumberland and close to the beach at Beadnell. Would definitely stay there again

We were self contained, had use of a fridge and a kettle. Cereals supplied as well as tea and coffee. We needed a port in a storm and found it there. Vanessa was very helpful.

East House, Chathill.
This met our requirements as a base to explore the area. For the price it is very good value. Will likely stay here again. Found the bed to be too soft. As a light sleeper I found the road a little noisy with early morning traffic. Generally I would rate this as very good and would have rated as excellent but for the two minor points above. (Which are a personal thing). As said previously, we will stay again if in the area.

Well priced, comfy and good location
Vanessa was very friendly, she met us and explained their Covid rules before entering. We had a double room at the front with lovely countryside views. Very comfy bed and nicely decorated room. Tea and coffee in the cupboard with chocolate biscuits a nice touch (although we forgot to eat them) and a fridge on the landing containing plenty of milk with 3 different cereals on top. Not perfect condition but for what you pay it's well worth it. 1.5 miles from Beadnell, and 3 from Seahouses, it's a good base to walk from or get the bus nearby into local towns. Lots of places within about half an hour's drive too.

Home from home
A hidden gem of a B&B. Welcoming and friendly host, comfortable bed, perfect location. I booked a single and ended up with effectively a suite to myself containing a bedroom, landing, and bathroom. A range of cereals for breakfast and milk in the fridge on the landing. There is ample off street parking and you are within easy reach of so much of beautiful Northumberland. The establishment is also very covid conscious, which made me feel safe. Highly recommended.

Vanessa was a very welcoming host. We had an extremely comfortable stay. Large, light and well decorated and clean double room with views of the fields. If we were to visit the area again, we would definitely book into East House.

The accommodation was basic and a short distance away from Beadnell but at a very good price. Could be far better with a few updates ! A bonus was the use of a small fridge, which came in handy as there was just a variety of cereal for breakfast and fresh milk !

Have stayed here 3 years ago and had no hesitation about coming back. It's very clean and handy for the places we wanted to see. If we come back at any time in the future We will certainly be happy to stay again.

Disappointing . No clear sign on the property, hard to find. Parking very limited. Bath but no proper shower. Tea and coffe in cupboard so very dark. Not really breakfast, just cereal.

The property was secure, clean, spacious and Vanessa was definitely the hostess with the mostess! Unfortunately, there's a small problem with a smell from the drainage system in the bathrooms but it's slight, occasional and only in the bathroom.

Disappointing
The host wasn't very welcoming after a very long trip there . Room and landing smelt damp. Also in bedroom next to wardrobe when toilet was flushed awful smell probably due to mascerator toilet. The shower has a big step down could do with grab rail

B&B without breakfast!
Arrived to be told that breakfast consists of bowls in the room, with milk in the mini fridge on the landing with boxes of cereal on top and nowhere to sit and eat in the room. A rundown feel, with a bed that creaked loudly with every move. If you like a drink with your evening meal be prepared for a 3 mile walk along a busy main road. We won't be back.
