The location was great. It was on the major shopping street and it’s few blocks away from the water front and there is a parking lot around it if you arrive by a car. The room was roomie and there are lots of dining options close by. The staffs were very informative and friendly.

We stayed for two nights only. The front staff was very helpful. We had friendly midnight check in :-) as easyJet haven't offered an easy flight. We were so hungry, but didn't know where to go. Again, the staff was helpful and gave us the direction to the right location :-) Although, the room was basic, it was very clear with white, soft towels. The water in the room fridge is not free. The last but not least, the staff booked a taxi for us to the international bus station as the local bus drivers had a strike. We will recommend the hotel- good value for money, great location and staff.

OUTSTANDING
The hotel is best located on the main street and close to everything. Rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are large and comfortable. Room service is excellent. The breakfasts are great and the service is outstanding. In RECEPTION the attitude and the help beyond expectations, and especially I want to mention MR. Nikos. In short, a great value-for-money hotel.THE WI FI IS VERY GOOD

Clean and nice hotel with excellent location
Great location, just 3min walk from the main square, and 2min walk from the coast. It is in the main street, but the room is very quiet. The staff are very nice, and you can always see the smiles on their faces. They even made a special cake for an old man with his birthday at the breakfast, which was really nice. Also, the breakfast is great. Room itself is clean and comfortable. For me, just one thing that not so satisfied, that is the room (single room) is a bit small, especially for the toilet. But overall, strongly recommend for this hotel.

Great Thessaloniki Hotel
Great staff very helpful , great location just in tsimiski street at city center, Very good breakfast (expresso, all sort of cakes, ....) Large and comfortable room I will definitively recommend this hotel

This is not a 4-star property. The location is great, and the breakfast buffet is good. Otherwise, the beds are uncomfortable, the bathrooms are small, and service is non-existent. The toilet would not flush properly, the shower didn't drain and the WiFi wouldn't connect most of the time. When I complained to the front desk, all they said was that they couldn't do anything about it. They suggested I switch rooms.

The room was quite small for 4 of us. But there is a beautiful restaurant overlooking the Main Street and trees so we relaxed there and in the lounge. The breakfast is brilliant and such friendly staff. Perfect location. Easy walk with large suitcases to the ferry port. A few minutes walk from main square. Would definitely stay again. Good value for money.

REQUESTED FOR 3 DAYS TO CHANGE ROOM AS THEIR WAS TOO MUCH NOISE FROM THE STREET BUT DESPITE THE FACT THAT I KEPT TELLING THE RECEPTION THAT I COULD NOT SLEEP NOTHING WAS DONE STATING THAT HOTEL WAS FULL. FOUR DAYS WITHOUT SLEEP. DESPITE THIS BREAKFAST IS EXCELLENT AS WELL AS ALL STAFF.

Handy Hotel
We stayed at Le Palace a few times as its handy to the big public square and to all the shops you could possibly want, not to mention eateries. The breakfasts range from a very large range of healthy, savoury goodies to an assortment of sweet biscuits, cakes, jams etc. We love their brekky's. We were also pleasantly surprised to note that the beds have been upgraded to be more supportive on the back without the normal hard, Greek mattresses. I must also mention free wifi and the very friendly yet helpful staff. One fellow has worked there for over 20 years!

Great location, fantastic food. Floors 1, 2 and 3 seem renovated, while 4th floor maybe not. Restaurant staff and breakfast are great, well worth the stay. The reception has its flaws. No sitting/ waiting area at the lobby. Receptionist informed that the price of the transfer from SKG airport would be 18 euros, and the driver charged 24 euros on the spot. Driver claimed that the extra fee was charged to cover flight delay, when in fact it was only 10 minutes wait from the requested pickup time.

Great location yet too much for too little
The location as said is great. At a couple of minutes walking distance from the boulevard and in the main shopping area having wine&dine from all over the globe at your finger tips, you will want to stay here. The breakfast buffet is over complete, a great delight for the hungry early bird and the coffee is absolutely great. The downside, the price is too high for the facilities. The town itself, not stating the hotel is accountable for the surrounding areas, is fairly dirty. Heaps of garbage at the street corners and as a stroller is hard to handle on the sidewalk the location is strategic yet too run down for the price charged. The ART in the name suggests more art in the hotel.

Extreme stench RM 404
I stayed there 2 nights apart. First night the room was fine. On my return i was put into Rm 404. The balcony door was open and it was cold. I wondered why? Soon found out that there was extremely strong sewer smell. It was overpowering and had to keep bathroom door closed. The stench still strongly penetrated to sleeping area. The hotel is aware of problem and had a big bag of herbal material hanging in the bathroom. It didn't do anything and any benefits were minimal over the stench My issue is that the smell was prevailing that it can actually be considered a health hazard. This room SHOULD BE RENTED OUT until repairs done. I had come in late from a business trip and was tired and needed to leave in 6 hours again for the airport. The hotel knowing of this condition rented out anyways. There is health concern with this room that needs to be corrected right away or have taken it off the market, George

Great hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff, great breakfast and brilliant location. Only negative things were that the bath was stained and the water pressure through the shower was poor. Also some of our pillows were like bags of sand though I'm sure they would have changed them if we'd bothered to ask. I would definitely have another short stay there again

Home away from home
My daughter has been staying at Le Palace for 3 months while attending school in Greece. The hotel staff is extremely nice and has been very helpful during her stay. We stayed for a week while visiting and couldn't have been happier. The room size was decent and everything was clean. The food was good and the dining room convenient. It is located in the center of Thessaloniki - the 2nd largest city in Greece. It was very convenient to shopping, restaurants and local historical sites. The staff was very good about scheduling tours and calling cabs. I would definitely stay there again!
