We didn’t get the email to check in and showed up at 2:30 pm being told we couldn’t until 4. The first night there was some very loud techno beat until 4 amThe second night there was 9:40- midnight the heat wasn’t working and we were told that 68 should be warm enough. We asked for a blanket which we got but he didn’t seem happy. There was no one at the receptionist desk ever.

Best,Normal check-in is only from 4pm, unless a 25 surcharge is paid for early check-in. I would like to apologise for the noise and heating problems. The extra blanket is the least we could do. The reception is otherwise always available by phone or during reception hours.

De kamer was verouderd en stonk naar muggenspray, het leek me een typische kamer waar je een prostituee mee naar neemt en zelfs dat zou ik nog niet overwegen! De badkamer was niet degelijk gekuist (overal waar je keek zag je wel iets van vuiligheid). Zodra je in het bed gaat liggen begin je al jeuk te krijgen, gewoonweg schandalig om hier zoveel voor te moeten betalen!

This hotel is located a few minutes walk from the railway station and the main shopping street (Kerkstraat). It is 10-15 min walk to the beach. Even though I had booked a single room, I got a nicely refurbished room with a comfortable double bed. As I was arriving late, I got an email with the code to the safe box with my key. The only downside was there were no towels in the bathroom. I think they must have forgotten them. I could not get any towels since there were no staff around. Nevertheless, a nice hotel. Good value for money.

Location was fine. however, there was no disinfectant at the entrance (empty). As well in bathroom there was no soap and it was not clean enough. And in room there was no teapot, therefore it was no possibility to make a tea or coffee in the room (the kitchen was closed due to COVID 19)

Positive points: - very good location (1min walk from railway station and shopping street) - clean room - friendly receptionist Not so positive points: - late check in (only after 4pm) - single bed was rather small - some minor broken items (wall paper, light switch) Overall: Comfortable stay. Value for money. Did not try the breakfast buffet

It was not clear that dogs were an extra 10 euros, not happy about that, and it is very noisy with screaming teenagers in the square, I would stay there again

Good spot
We really appreciated the location of the hotel (Downtown, close to the beach). Proximity of the tramway is annoying in the morning provided we had to leave the window open not having air conditioning. Other than that , we were happy. We found breakfast a little too expensive and decided not to take it.

This place is very close to the ocean! The family room was big enough to sleep 4 comfortably and the place is clean. It is a value hotel, no frills and it could use an update.

Good basic value for money, ideally located next to train station and on the Coastal Tram Line. 5 minute walk to beach, lots of restaurants etc. Well renovated and clean inside, bed mattresses a bit soft.

Nice spacious hitel
Unusually not staffed but that did not mean we did not get into the rooms without an issue. Nice clean room. Some fittings falling off. Pillow could do with an upgrade and an extra one would help. Location excellent. Parking excellent and free, if you get a space.

We were shocked by terrible condition of hotel room. Carpet filthy, bathroom door had a hole where it had been hit. Not even a kettle

It's not a hotel more like a bb without the breakfast Room was okay very basic curtains did not cover windows properly and the radiator in the bathroom sounded like a tap had been left running all night Modern bathroom hand held shower no water pressure or heat really if you needed to take the bath it would take forever we where at the top of the building so maybe that's why The checking lady was lovely spoke little English and no problems checking in hard to find on a one way road system

Despite the low rate, they could do better
When arriving within the short check in time window, the receptionist told us that the room will be ready in a few minutes. Returning almost two hours later, we still had to wait for the room. WiFi is not working in the rooms despite what the hotel listing shows. According to the receptionist, they work for weeks to get it working. I have doubts. Receptionist is friendly, but not very efficient (wrong reservation presented for signature, etc.). The rooms are very small. Suitcase can only be opened, when put on bed. Bathroom could be better maintained. No hot water during one of the two nights, we spent there. The hotel is noisy as the trams pass through a curve (strong squeaks) right in front of the hotel. In addition, some careless guests seem to forget the hotel entrance access code and bang at night on the entrance door until other guests wake up and open them the door. No night receptionist.

Great location, Friendly staff
This was a basic hotel which was good value for money. Location perfect, opposite tram and rail stations. We parked our car in the station car park. We told the attendant when we were staying until and she gave us tickets stamped for each day so that we did not have keep returning. Good value at 5 euros a day. It is in a nice area surrounded by good bars and restaurants. It is only a short walk to the lovely seafront with reasonably priced beachbars. We ate at Mama Tomys in the Paradisio Hotel. Mixed grill and fries with choice of soup or help yourself buffet was beautiful and only 16 euros. Hotel receptionist was very nice and helpful.

Good value friendly hotel
We stayed a weekend in Blankenberge. Service at the hotel was very friendly and efficient and complimentary tea and fresh coffee 24hours was a real bonus. Right near the tram station and 10min max. walk to the beach. Nice big windows and good size rooms, if a little basic. I would stay again if visiting.

Nice place ish. Not erm riveria as they'd have you believe. Beware Restraunt owners n waiters they're Flemish sort of Dutch sort of French very partisan n don't like the Brits. 80-100€ meal for two and they still ignore you act the goat and take the p. Flanders Ypres paschendale Hooge etc 100yrs commemoration at Menin gate. Sacrifice our great grandparentsade for these supercilious prats. Ate out every night every afternoon. 4 places great. Two of them in Brussels. Trip advisor check it out.

Went for tango festival. Good central location, quiet small town. Ask for basics like kettle, cups if you need them. If you don't ask you don't get. Good value, clean, easy access. Lovely Belgium chocolates.

More like a B and B than a hotel!!!
The owner needs to attend to the carpet in the halls, otherwise this was a fantastic place to stay. Patricia and Luk were so welcoming, so accommodating and so warm and friendly. I felt like I was staying with family or friends, instead of visiting a country I had never been to before. As long as Patricia and Luk are there, I will return frequently. Location is perfect! Its a 5 minute walk from the train station!
