For a start off there was nobody to greet us and the hallway smelt like dog wee when someone did come they said I could have any room I wanted but I paid for a twin room and the room was far too hot even if you did try to turn down the heat from room it didn’t work also the room smelt funny to the bathroom sink was gross and you had to go through the person own private living room to go for breakfast which we didn’t feel like doing I wouldn’t recommend this place and the only reason we stayed is there was no where else in Bridlington to stay I am never going to use this place again when we handed the keys when we left the bloke who ran the place looked dirty like he hadn’t put a clean shirt on

The hotel smells vile they have a dog and it smells of urine throughout the hotel wires dangling all over ceiling really needs a good reverb

The advert for the hotel said no pets, as soon asyou put your head through the door ypu were met with a dog smell, their own. The carpets could do with a good clean. The woodwork in the bedroom and bathroom were covered in paint splashes The bar / dining room could do with a good clean.

In need of a good clean
It smelt as you enter, owner very unclean wires hanging out everywhere we ended up in the attic even though we was the only people in hotel. Shower cubicle unclean, side cabinets stained wardrobe covered in dust. Breakfast bug in the juice cups sticky plates for toast had to go back to room to re shower.

This must be the worst hotel we have ever booked, on entering the premises the smell of dogs was overpowering, the owners were slouched out eating sandwiches, a dogs dish was on the couch filled with what looked like left over breakfast. we were told the room was not ready but could leave our bags. There was no chance of us staying. I told the owner that the property was not for us and we were cancelling, as it was the 18th he started to get annoyed and was amazed at my reaction when i said it was filthy. I will be complaining to HOTELS.COM they should not offer this to anyone who has not previously stayed. In one word disgusting. What looked like the breakfast room was piled high with junk and thick dust was visible everywhere.HOTELS.COM you should send someone out to that establishment and check on what you are offering your customers.

Hotel looks like it’s been having some work done , needs a good clean . Room ok basic but ok . Breakfast ok plenty of options , sat in a very untidy room stuff all over . Food ok , bad thing was plates ect lots of chips in , not clean cutlery , service ok friendly helpful . Won’t go back

Doesn’t look like any of the photos the toilet was disgusting and unusable. We was greeted by a gentleman who although pleasant was dirty . We cut our stay short and booked elsewhere . Wouldn’t want to ruin anyone’s business but this needs a complete overall clean and refurbishement

Very enjoyable stay
We spent 2 nights at this accommodation in July. I second the information given in other reviews. The breakfasts are excellent. Choice of 9 or 10 different cereals, juice, toast, tea, coffee and then choice of full English breakfast items. Extremely good. The owner is friendly and helpful. His mother (sorry I have forgotten both their names) is interesting to chat to. The room had an abundance of electrical sockets and usb plugs. Bridlington was clean and tidy. Location of accommodation is very good. Parking is on street but a short walk into town. We would definitely recommend and would return again if in the area.

Wont stay again
This b n b is run down. Looks like work is ongoing to spruce things up. Entry and booking in not a good impression. Had to walk through the owners living area to breakfast. Breakfast was cooked in plenty of grease, i couldnt eat my bacon. Room was three flights up, clean sheets etc. Nice big towels, coffee, tea etc and fresh milk. Close to spa.

Just about perfect
We felt very relaxed and comfortable. The owners were helpful giving local information The breakfast was home cooked and everything you could hope for was on the menu. The bed was comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep.

Hidden gem in Bridlington
Great service from friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable, shower was hot and powerful which is sometimes missing in hotels, overall a lovely place to stay

No actual check in desk. Smell when you walk in is absolutely disgusting, air fresheners dotted all the way upstairs did nothing to mask the smell. Very freindly people. But very shabby untidy and dirty. Definitely needs a massive updating. Bar advertised wasnt open and completely full of clutter. Room had a funny smell and was dirty tgere was a poo stane in loo toilet brush made me gip. No curtain at window so very bright very early. Breakfast was massive and very nice but fella went to let them no he didn't want black pudding and sd it wasnt good had to say i dont wanna no till we leave. Shame really as there freindly people just needs a good tidy up and ipdate. Thanks
