It’s got an old feel to it, especially the first room they put me in. It was dark and felt dingy. And overlooked a bar patio. I requested to be moved and they were less than accommodating - specifically one front desk person in particular m. I don’t like having to ask for a manager. But I did and got moved.

The hotel had history of being there in Boulder for 115 years and was original to the area.. You could walk to an area for shopping and it was safe. The only part I could complain about was that we had to take two elevators to get to the fourth floor. However, if I could not have done that, I am sure other arrangements could have been made.The food was good and the service was good and people were friendly. Loved Boulder!

Out for college visit- loved this hotel. We had a power outage our last day ( city wide) and without a word they refunded our stay Which was just incongruous on The cake of a fabulous experience.

It’s a nice spot if you won’t have a car to walk everywhere but for the price the hotel is incredibly dated. The line between historic and just old showing. There’s no amenities outside the room and the walls are paper thin even with ear plugs. Also woke up to so much noise and construction both nights i was there. Was offered a food credit, doesn’t sit well when you’re spending over 300 . I’d go there for a drink but pass on staying again. Also forgot about late check out, the offer it on a will call basis if you wake up at 7 am and start asking.

Our room was a very long walk from the lobby and required taking 2 elevators. For half the trip, only one elevator was working. So, if you can’t carry suitcases up and down the stairs and walk a substantial distance to your room, this hotel may not be for you. The hotel lobby has a lot of charm and uniqueness but otherwise, it does not feel like a luxury or high-end hotel. It is extremely convenient to get to shopping and dining.

I booked two rooms, one for myself and another for my son who was getting married. When I booked it I didn't think to ask for the bridal suite, but the when the hotel learned it was their wedding they upgraded them without even being asked. I'd give them an 11 for staff service if I could. A great place to stay right in the heart of Boulder. Lots of great restaurants within a block or two.

Everyone was so welcoming and professional everything was very clean and orderly and the historic information regarding the hotel just made it another one highlight of the Boulderado. We loved the convenience and quaintness of the Hotel. We wanted a hotel that was close to everything but had great food and entertainment . We had martinis and listened to Jazz in the lobby Friday night and enjoyed a few meals at Spruce all while being close to a family event
