The heat was broken in my room. It was 67 Degrees. Too cold to take shower in morning. Extremely uncomfortable and when telling front desk, nothing. Said because I went through Expedia, nothing they could/would do.

There were insects and spiders crawling in the bed with my daughter. She is now petrified. We complained to the front desk our room was moved and we did not feel safe. The pool area is dangerous. It is outrageously slippery. While walking slowly my whole family fell multiple times. I have a 5 year old daughter and a 6year old nephew. We couldn't stay at the pool long due to the slippery conditions. Multiple people were falling.

We paid for the larger suite hoping to have a good experience. We actually had to put the air on.. the room was so hot we couldn't even sleep... It was terrible...we were debating jumping in the shower at midnight..no matter how low we put heat.. it was super hot ..we also couldn't get cool water out of the bathroom sink to wash our face to cool down.. it was only warm and hot....my son wanted to take a sip in the pool... He said it was cold. . then a family with five children were in there screaming at the top of their lungs and jumping on each other., he was in there for 10 minutes and wanted to get out...it was frustrating when you pay that much for one night and it was more stress than anything... breakfast included was pretty good...

Vestal location sucks
Im not impressed i rented two rooms for my daughters birthday pool was closed most of the time for maintance or no one available to let us in which we dont have to do at ither hotels kids were treated badly over the dumbest things by employees and all around i will never go to this location again after all our hotel stays with holiday inn vestal was a horrible expwrience and for that price i expected better

Great place to stay!
We had a great stay in late December 2023. The room and bathroom were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was ample storage for our clothing and luggage. The breakfast each morning was delicious and offered a great variety. The pool area was clean and much enjoyed by our children. I appreciate the extra safety of having to be let in to the pool door with a front desk key. We will definitely stay here on future trips.

Our checkin took a very long time and I had reserved two hotel rooms on expedia, but I was only given one room upon check in and had to re book the second room even though I had received confirmation through expedia that two rooms were booked.
