Breakfast was good, staff was nice, area around the property was beautiful. Bed was very uncomfortable, in the span on 2 night averaged about 2 hours of sleep because the bed was so uncomfortable. My girlfriend ended up sleeping on the couch, she said it was more comfortable than the bed. Hot tub was open and there were people being loud and obnoxious that also made it hard to sleep. When my girlfriend and I were in the hot tub it was nice until a mom and 2 kids came into the hot tub. One of the kids were swimming and splashing around like they were in a pool and the other was blowing snot rockets into the hot tub. More adults came in and they were drinking which made it very difficult to enjoy the hot tub.

We are repeat guests at The Ponderosa. We stay in the jacuzzi suite. It is very romantic and very cozy.

We love this place. My wife and I stayed there at numerous occasions. It sits in the middle of the trees while being so close to town. The rooms are large and comfortable.

Let’s Do It Again
This was our 3rd time staying at the Ponderosa and it certainly will not be the last. The comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and amazing location can not be beat in the area.

Our Favorite Hotel in Sisters
Love this place. We actually live in Sisters, but had to find a place to stay for a night while some work was being done where we live. Our family friends stay here every time they visit, so we knew exactly where to go. It's always comfortable, clean, quaint, easy to walk to town, and, well, the alpacas. C'mon! Who doesn't love those floofs? Definitely the only place to stay when visiting Sisters. Heck, even a perfect sanctuary for your stay in the entirety of Central Oregon.

The staff was great, youll never find a better breakfast at a hotel than you will here. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the views are spectacular. The location is also great! Our favorite place to stay

Bad start good end
Problematic room keys and after being reassigned a different room 3x they upgraded us to a suite. Door finally worked there. Spacious room clean and comfortable

Birtday weekend
Spending the weekend celebrating birthday. My husband is Nov 8th and my birthday is Nov13th. Room was perfectand the service was even better. The gentleman that checked in (I'm sorry I don't know his name) is a Gold Star employee. He was ver helpful. We will definitely be back

This is a very well run motel. The hot tub was wonderful. They provided a great breakfast, the woman running it was most helpful. The alpacas were a nice addition and the mule deer entertained us by playing through with their hopping gait.

We went to a local grocery store across the street, microwaved our food in our room, then sat outside to enjoy our dinner at the large patio table located right outside our door. Fun to watch a mama deer and her two fawns quietly lurking around on the premises hoping for a handout. Really enjoyed the alpaca farm located directly on the hotel's premise! A totally unexpected treat!

Clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It was a busy weekend in the area and the property appeared to be full but my room was quiet. I loved the Alpacas and I saw plenty of deer in the area. I stayed by myself and felt absolutely safe. It's a nice walk into Sisters for food, coffee, and cocktails. I'd stay again.

The room was big and clean and the front desk check in dude was super nice!! We had Alpaca's out our patio window and a mother and 2 little deer came right up to our patio. The free breakfast was awesome!!! The waffle was the best waffle I have ever had at a hotel or any restaurant I have eaten at. The eggs scramble with spinach and bacon was delicious. The bed was super comfortable. I couldn't have been more pleased.

This is an awesome hotel. I was greeted at the front desk by the manager and he was so nice and friendly. I enjoyed his enthusiasm for his job. He was excited that our group of older women were there to go ziplining at Mt. Bachelor. He was so helpful. Rooms were a good size with everything we needed and our patio opened to a big grassy field with Alpaca's in the fenced area beyond, the pool and hot tub. In the morning we shared our cup of coffee out on the patio with a couple of deer that were wandering through. The breakfast was the best I have ever been offered at a hotel. It is catered by a local resturant. I highly recommend this hotel.
