the room was musty smelling, room needed paint mold on outer bathroom walls , over all the food was good and the service

Good location for MRT.
Considering the location, room price is fair enough. 5 minutes walk to the nearest MRT Station. You can choose breakfast from the menu. 
Just one thing, the hotel is beside the main road so you can hear the sound of the cars. If this is a problem for sleeping, I recommend to prepair Earplugs.

Convenient location. "The Street" mall is a short walk, where you can treat your jet lag with a coffee or meal 24 hours a day. Also a nice grocery store. Subway is quite walkable. Excellent air and internet.

Budget Hotel with Good Locations
First time staying this hotel and the price and location is good. Easy access to Huay Kwang Station and lots of good food can be found at the Huay Kwang Market. The God Ganesha is just around the corner for devotees to make offerings and prayers. Big C, The Street is within walking distance from this hotel. Room is spacious with simple amenities. Wifi is good. Breakfast is very simple with American Breakfast with a few choices and Continental Breakfast. Coffee,Tea and Milo is self-service at the table. All in all, the breakfast Menu has only 8 choices to choose from but is fresh from the kitchen. The Lobby is small but cozy. Hotel is situated on the main road. Esplanade Mall is two stations away from Huay Kwang station whereby you can spend your afternoon at the 3D Paradise and when in the evenings from 6pm to Midnight, Train Night Market ( Talad Rod Fai ) is behind Esplanade Mall.

Clean and handy to get train
If you are traveling for dental work in Thailand you can not beat the location. Also super close to the train station so a great base to get around Bangkok. Staff are lovely, very friendly and always available for any questions.

Conveniently Accessible Hotel Near Main Road
Well firstly I don't hate the hotel, I believe you get what you paid for The staff were nice, the rooms were affordable, and it's along a main road, so I'd say if was good However, the bed was too hard and pillows were too soft, complimentary breakfast was underwhelming, and for my room the floor was very dirty along with the room having a smoke smell when I first entered Overall I would recommend this hotel to people that are on a budget and don't have too high expectations. As for the bed and pillows, it is subjective, might be I'm a bit sensitive as I have back problems.

Dear Khun Jem, Greetings from The Mini R Ratchada Hotel. That was really a unique review, with a mixture of feelings. All our rooms are non-smoking rooms and each room comes with 2 pairs of feather touch pillow series aimed at increasing guest comfort. Complimentary set breakfast is of cause not like any 5-star hotel international breakfast buffet but we have gotten many feedback from previous guests and believe it was sufficient for that price point we are selling the rooms. Cleanliness is important to us as to every guest staying with us and your feedback is taken seriously. Any area in the room prior to guest arrival which is not cleaned well is not acceptable to us and the housekeeping team have been informed for their improvements. Handy to dental centre, food courts and cafes
The Mini R suited our needs extremely well. It is adjacent to the international dental centre and very affordable for patients needing to stay a week or more. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Being on a major road, not all rooms are quiet, but convenience was a greater priority for us. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, we were really pleased with the booking. Expedia has never let us down.

This location was perfect for our needs being attached to the Dental Clinic we were getting our treatment from. This hotel is basic and needs some upgrading but convenient.

The staff is very friendly and the place is very convenient next to the dental center. But they should keep up with the maintenance of the rooms. For example window blinds not be able to pull up. Bath tub badly scratched and marked.

Was not expecting a lot as this hotel was a cheap option right next door to dental clinic. The staff were great and the restaurant did good meals. Within walking distance of underground and three large malls. Room is not double glazed so was very noisey at night ask for a back room

I really enjoyed my stay here. The new owner of the Hotel and his staff went out of their way to be availble and to help if needed. Beds were very comfortable. My stay was for 2 weeks and i will be returning next year for another 2 weeks.

Fantastic little hotel in Ratchada
Stayed there for fantastic two weeks. Nice, clean and very friendly & helpful staff. I took the superior room at the back which is very quiet - Very large room with Modern design. You got there anything you need : Great WiFI connection, LCD TV and many channels, safe, MiniBar, Desk & chair where you can seat and use your laptop. The shower and huge and nice. The location of the Mini hotel is also great: 7-8 minutes walk to the MRT station, 7/11 just across the street, with 5 minutes walk you can find 24/7 Starbucks, Burger King, KFC and other western and local restaurants. Big C super market and Esplanade shopping mall are in walk distance. Currency Exchange booth is also near. Great value for money - I would defiantly stay there once again !

Bad value for money
The hotel was far from the station, at least a 20 minutes walk. The mattress was very thin and hard, you can feel the spring in the mattress when you lay on it, we didnt sleep well because of that and it was noisy. The worst thing was the shower which was very weak makes it difficult to have shower. Overall this hotel was very bad value for money. We travel to bangkok two to three times a year, this was probably the worst value for money hotel we had stayed in. The only thing we liked was the location but for this price you can get much better value elsewhere. We definitely would not stay here again.

Super convenient location, fantastic staff
Recommend the Mini R for anyone needing to stay in Din Daeng area. Staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Some rooms need a bit of cosmetic work, but if you get a good room, its pretty comfortable. Water pressure non existant, but quickly forgotten whilst enjoying the fantastic a/c!

Preferrably quite comfy stay, manual key is given to access the room, the lift has some problems (the way the pavement to the lift is badly designed) if you are not careful, you will trip easily. Overall stay is okay.

Value for money!
Value for money! My last trip was at Swissotel Le Concorde and this is just opposite and I paid 1/3 of the cost. It's a boutique hotel so not an apple to apple comparison but I stayed for 2 nights as my partner's office is within walking distance. Rooms was big with breakfast served to your room. Plus, there's a new mall which is walkable. I would stay there again!

I stayed 14 nights and chose this hotel for its close proximity to my dental clinic. Staff Kiki and Ana and James were very friendly and fantastic to communicate in English with.Kiki was a wealth of knowledge and helped Me find markets to purchase gifts for relatives back home, she even went as far as taking me on to the train station and straight to the markets...without her help,patience and communication my stay would have been a disaster.It was a pleasure to stay at a hotel where staff are so helpful and I only have praise for all their efforts.

Fabulous front desk staff!
Amazing service from the front desk staff, who went well beyond expectations in helping me to re-arrange a complicated airline ticket, including multiple phone calls and taking a trip to a local bank on my behalf. I cannot say enough about the high quality of their service and their desire to make my trip a success. This is the second time I have stayed here and I had a good experience both times. I came both times for dental work next door and would certainly strongly recommend it to others, especially since the March opening of the new indoor mall a block away.

Old looking dated decor. staff very uninterested nothing like the reviews I read before booking .My feet were sticking to the wooden floor when I walked around had to wear flip flops 2 star hotel maximum.Not recommended
