Front desk Josie is the rudest person I’ve ever seen. We drove by the reception to check in. There’s a drive-thru loading area in front of reception. Therefore we used common sense and momentarily parked our car there to drop off people. The first moment as soon as we opened our car doors and stepped out feet on the ground, Josie started yelling at us and told us no parking in front of the building.
Ok, like most guests do this is the first time we ever visit this hotel. If no parking or stopping is allowed, you better have put up a warning sign or at least any forms of instructions. If you do not want your guests accidentally drive by the reception building, then do not build this misleading driveway. If your staff is not capable of doing their job in the hospitality industry, then replace them.
WARNING for future guests: when you get to hotel make sure you park far far away from the reception building and use foot traffic ONLY. They do not have any instructions but I guarantee you will be reprimanded by their staff:))
I need a formal apologies from the hotel manager. But I was told by front desk that the manager does not come to work that often. Manager would not be here on Mondays or Tuesdays (which is probably a lie too).
Very disappointed and it completely ruined my trip.
