There are plenty of good two-star hotels in Koh Phangan and all are very affordable and are great for those visiting the island on a tight budget. A few of these hotels are even suitable for those that are used to splurging a bit—two-star hotels on Koh Phangan are quite comfortable.

There are over 100 two-star hotels scattered all over the island with the majority found along the south coast and around Thong Sala and Haad Rin. Nearly all of these hotels are set along a beach or within a very short distance. They are predominately standalone bungalows made of concrete or wood with simple, but cosy interiors.

All two-star hotels in Koh Phangan are independently run on properties with gardens, pathways, and views of the sea. A few of these hotels boast a swimming pool and offer spa services, while almost all of them offer free wireless internet. Many also have a beachfront restaurant, and a few even having a beach bar to enjoy a cocktail or cold beer on a hot, sunny day.

Rooms in two-star hotels on Koh Phangan come with a fan and the option of upgrading to an air-conditioned bungalow.
